Nice studio

We enjoyed our stay. We could hear everything above us but we were provided earplugs. We appreciated the gate around the property. Lots of communication was made with the host which was nice.

Good place to stay

Excellent facility, spotlessly clean, well equipped. We walked to town each day but it’s a mile before doing anything if you’re not used to walking. We would definitely use it again but would request an upstairs flat due to a bit of a noise problem with people walking around upstairs

Great Find!

Property is just as it appears in the listing. Beautiful block and about a 15 minute walk to Beale Street. Affordable, cute, clean downtown spot to stay. We would definitely stay again!

Delightful Rental!

So happy with this property! What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. The property owner responded to all my messages very quickly and was super polite even when I asked dumb questions (ones where the answers were obviously listed in the Welcome Binder on the coffee table). We walked daily - most places were 1 - 4 miles away and the walks were very easy. We went to Beale, Sun Studio, the Bass Pro Shop, The Civil Rights Museum, and The Arcade Diner - all places we would highly recommend. We only walked during the day, but we definitely felt safe. We just stayed 3 days but gladly would have traded this property for the motels we stayed in during the rest of our trip in TN. The owner provided coffee and filters which was a huge bonus since we arrived after midnight and woke up groggy and needing coffee. It was nice to not have to go shopping. Instead, we enjoyed our coffee and then were able to get started sightseeing right away. The owner also provided a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, make-up remover wipes, and earplugs. I am guessing the previous reviews about noisy upstairs neighbors prompted this. Yes, the ceiling is not insulated but that adds to the overall charming decor. However, we could hear the people above us walking around at night or early in the morning. This did not bother me but my wife is a light sleeper and hears everything. She used the earplugs and slept like a baby. No worries. The bed is memory foam which is not my favorite, but again - it's all a matter of preference. My wife loved it. I slept on it the first night and then used the futon for the next 2. It was nice and hard and super comfortable for me. Overall, this place was darling and had everything we wanted including perfect walking distance downtown. The Victorian Village is quaint and cute and the property adds to the appeal. If you do rent, and you have a large SUV, you will probably want to follow the signs asking you to park in the back. The front unit stalls are wide enough but the drive is narrow and makes maneuvering tight. We had no problem with our smaller Subaru Outback. If we ever go back to Memphis, we will stay here without a doubt.

This recently updated apt in the Victorian neighborhood of Memphis, across from Millionaire’s Row, was great. Clean, safe quiet and easy walking distance from Beale St.

Great if you don’t need to sleep here.

Everything was really cute, just like in the pictures. We had no problems with checking in or the location. However, the ceilings squeaked terribly. Anytime someone upstairs walked it was an awful screeching sound. Maybe you will get lucky and no one will be staying above you, but if you plan on sleeping during your stay like we did, you might want to pick someplace else. We were woken up every couple of hours when I assume our upstairs neighbors used the bathroom. It was even loud enough to wake my husband who is normally an incredibly deep sleeper.

Nice comfortable stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The bed was comfy and everything was so clean! I loved the gated entry and the ambience of the property upon arriving there. The communication with the owner was exceptional! It's close to the entertainment district as well. I will definitely stay again when I visit.

Loved the Moose!

Can't say enough good things about my enjoyable stay here. I had unit #1, which is near the street. I enjoyed the view, and didn't find noise to be an issue, at all. Adorable decor, full kitchen, gated property, I like a bath, so thank you for the combo unit, I think they thought of everything,...oh, pooh, if I start saying individual things, I'll talk forever. Would definitely stay again; in fact, I tried, on the way back, but the unit was rented. Five starssssss. (Only gave 4 stars on the location because of Memphis downtown, in general. No way around that. Not the Moose's fault.)

I would stay here again!

This property was very cozy and clean. I LOVED the vanity. So often when women travel it’s hard to find good lighting for make up and skin care. The owners put a lot of love into the building and it shows. We appreciated that there was parking as well as a gate. Nestled in Victorian Village, there’s always something to see! Walk around and see the historic homes and landmarks. We walked to and from downtown during the day but I would warn some people who aren’t used to walking through a city may get a little culture shock for 3 or 4 blocks. Sun Studio is right nearby and if you stay at this property you have to have breakfast at Sunrise Memphis. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing beautiful & clean studio

My partner and I stayed in this unit while we were visiting Memphis for a few days. The location was super convenient to downtown Memphis. Definitely walking distance to Beale street! I loved the fact that it was gated as it made me feel safe. The unit itself was so beautiful and super clean. Once I checked in I felt that it would be hard to get up each morning to explore memphis because I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful studio. The hosts were so amazing with communication in regards to check-in and check-out instructions. Anytime I reached out, I heard back from host right away. You can tell the host cares about their customers and they made themselves available. The unit itself was immaculate! The unit had Everything you need for your stay. I really appreciated the keyless entry and the AC worked so well. The decor was unique and very nice! I felt like I were home away from home. Very cozy. The the bed was so comfortable! All I wanted to do was lay in bed every opportunity I had. I’d definitely stay again if or when I ever visit Memphis! If your thinking about booking this place you will not regret it. They also had snacks for us too which I thought was a nice and thoughtful touch.

Excellent Property

The owner is prompt to answer and help out in any way. The room was very cute and CLEAN!! The Vrbo app I am not impressed with at all. I think they are the ones that screwed up the initial reservation. The owner did everything in his power to make it right and I appreciate it. Thank you for a great stay.
