Decided not to stay at this condo

Got to the condo and it was very musty inside. I knew it would bother my allergies. The carpet in the living room was dirty. There was a cobweb on one of the dining chairs. The old grate for the air flow had an air filter but it was not placed correctly, and it was dirty. I replied to the email from the host about the issues but didn't hear back. I didn't realize that it was from a no reply email address. Then I later contacted the host through VRBO. He was not willing to give us any type of refund. We ended up going to a downtown hotel.

Memphis weekend

The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay. the property was centrally located for the festivities we were attending. The apartment was clean however there was a musty odor.

Great place with everything we needed.

We had a great stay in Memphis. This place had everything we needed and was in a perfect location. Everything was clean and neat and came with some essentials like coffee, laundry pods, dish soap etc. Bed was comfy and it was nice to have the washer dryer handy. The parking was right outside the back door and the area is all fenced in and secure with a gate. Had a great stay. Will stay here again if we return.

Great place

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this property. It was very comfortable and just a short drive from Downtown Memphis, and Graceland. I will definitely rent this property the next time I’m in Memphis

Weekend in Memphis

The apartment is a lovely place to stay. We walked most every where. Great food within walking distance. The apartment is just the right size for two people. The host communicated a lot with us, check in and out was very easy and hassle free. Will be back!

Great weekend

My Gf and I chose memphis as our first vacation together and it did not disappoint. ThIs apartment was a perfect homebase for everything we did. The food everywhere was great. Check out Overton Sqaure really good weekend nightlife and really close to this apartment.

Nice little cottage

I had the pleasure of staying at this cottage while visiting Memphis for three days. The location was close to Overton Square and a few miles away from Beale St. There were restaurant in walking distance of Overton Square. The check-in an check out process was very easy. Tim the host was great and check in often weather it was my travel in or just to see how things were going. Everything met my expectations and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Memphis Jeffery

Great security! Excellent bed! Great shower!

I never like to give any negative comments, but there are 2 issues that need attention: there was a strong mildew smell, and the cleanliness of the kitchen needs attention. You’re not getting your money’s worth from the clean up crew! All silverware had to be re-washed as well as the dishes. And the refrigerator leaks water onto all the food. We appreciated the washer/dryer and iron /ironing board.

Just what i was looking for

It was small, which is what i was looking for. There was only 2 of us. Didn't spend much time there other than sleeping so it was perfect. Close to downtown, one could walk if they chose to. Would definitely stay there again.

A great bargain close to Overton Square

This is a nice little cottage just right for one, or two if they are friendly. The neighborhood seems safe, plus the property is behind a security fence. Kitchen is adequate, and the place is clean. There is a small, well-shaded front porch that looks out on a quiet street where lots of people walk dogs, bike, and jog. It is definitely not fancy like many Vrbos I have stayed in, but it is less expensive than a hotel, very livable, and in a super location. A big plus is proximity to Overton Square, a hopping strip with lots of great restaurants, live music, and more all just about a ten minute walk away. I have a couple of more short trips to Memphis in the near future, and will gladly stay here again.

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, safe and secure parking, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. 3-4 block walk to a dozen restaurants and bars. Nice neighborhood. Bed was comfy. We actually extended our stay as we were enjoying Midtown and this apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

Fell in love!!!

The entire process for my stay from start to finish was fluid, communicative, and simplistic. I had direct conversations from the owner and he provided helpful insight and was just awesome. The layout of the rental was ideal and styled for simplicity yet directly accommodating. The location was perfection! I didn’t want to leave. I extended my stay as a matter of fact by another several days because I was still needed in the area and instead of looking for another place I reached out and was able to stay longer. Come time to leave I was so very sad to say goodbye to my what felt like a home away from home but I know given the chance and availability I MOST DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK!!! This place is a 20 out of 10 hands down! Tim the owner is phenomenal and has such a remarkable and lovely home that if you have the chance to stay here I highly recommend that you do!!! Can’t wait to stay again!! Tim I will be back if you will have have me!!

Walking distance to Overton Square only two blocks away. Only recommendation is some chairs on the front porch. It was a great weekend wish we could have sat on the porch.

Not Exactly What We Expected

This review has no bearing on the owner or his apartment. It's more about the neighborhood. This was our last stop on a 23 day trip and we stayed here for two nights. The pictures of this apartment are accurate. It is obvious that the owner has repainted and put new furniture in this place. It is well stocked but would be a bit crowded for more than two people - as it is described on VRBO. When you drive into the neighborhood it looks a bit suspicious. It is an older neighborhood and many of the houses are run down. The exterior of this apartment needs to be painted and the front porch of it, and every other property, was dirty. But don't let that fool you - the gates keep people that don't belong there out, and when you step into the apartment it is a different world. We wouldn't consider walking anywhere outside of the gates. My only complaint would be that the floors were dirty. We had to wear flip flops to keep the bottoms of our feet from turning black. I'm sure that Tim will address that with his cleaning company.

Great Midtown Location

This was an easy experience. The staff were prompt and friendly. The price was very reasonable for the space and the location. I loved the easy gated parking. The apartment was clean and comfortable and coffee on the front porch was awesome! We had everything we needed!
