Charming apartment in an historic building with character. You’ll feel the local neighborhood in midtown - pleasant and unfiltered. Two porches to sit and enjoy the morning or night air. Responsive staff to help you along the way.

Wish I had not rented

For me, the driveway was small and difficult to negotiate. The property was clean for the most part, but an unsecured throw rug proved to have many dead bugs under it. The Netflix channel demanded extra money via credit card. I did not trust the unsecured WiFi connection to communicate with the owner, so I checked out a day early. There was dust I could wipe off with my finger on the bedside lamp. That said, in all honesty, the rest of the place was clean. I checked out early. I will add that my current stress level exacerbated the problem. Ordinarily, I could have brushed this off, but not that day! The next time I need to stay somewhere, I will pay more and use a commercial brand name lodging.

Very convenient location!

I absolutely fell in love with the area! It was within a mile of 2 supermarkets. Driving into town took only a matter of minutes and the neighborhood was really quiet and walkable. The facility was one of the best I've seen: clean and comfortable.

Almost great

The first unit I went to had a gas leak. It took HOURS and MANY attempts to contact them for help. I tried every platform possible. Once I did get in contact with someone they were incredible. Immediately helped me move to a different unit. They were pleasant and efficient. The next unit was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful, great location.. the works. Everything was incredible. Then 30 min before my check out time the cleaners came in to my rental and I was in the shower. It was startling but also when I got out and spoke to the cleaner she was exceptionally rude. I suggest midtown stays. They have GREAT units and the service is great when you can get in contact with them. I would suggest they improve in communication accessibility and definitely address the lack of communication with the cleaning staff. That aspect was uncomfortable and outrageous.

Central Midtown Stay

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at the beautiful house in central midtown. It was so close to everything we were able to go and see so many places in a short amount of time. The property had that welcoming feel to it that it was easy to feel right at home. Next time I'm in Memphis I will rebook.

Would not recommend this apartment or this property management company

We had a family emergency and were traveling to Memphis for a liver transplant. We booked this apartment at the last minute. Unfortunately, our situation changed and we thought we no longer needed the apartment. I wrote to the manager and asked for a refund due to our change in plans. I explained our situation that the transplant would not occur and asked for their understanding and mercy. They refused to help and held us to the cancellation policy. Since we did have the reservation, we did try to use the code to enter the apartment, but it didn't work. It took several attempts with several contacts and many hours before we received a response about not being able to access the property. They took our money and didn't provide access to the property. I would not recommend this property management company.

Short stay

Cute and cozy. We had an overnight in Memphis and needed an inexpensive and location friendly rental to fit our need. We have stayed at VRBO properties for close to 10 years. It has become a bit challenging to find a place as cute as this in our price range. A couple of comments would be the entrance to the property required a bit of maneuvering around the drips from A/C and bugs. The screen door could be cleaned for better curb appeal. The bed mattress could be upgraded for a more firm feel or a foam padding added. The bed is the number one comfort for guests to have a good stay at your property. Thank you

Nice little Midtown apartment

This was an enjoyable place to stay for a week-long work trip. I was by myself, so there was plenty of space, comfy bed, working internet. Not a lot of frills, but certainly covered all of my needs! Oscar was very responsive when I had a question or two, and the check-in was very organized and streamlined. A great spot!

Loved our little apartment

We were thrilled with our apartment and loved everything about it. It had beautiful wood floors and the most comfortable bed. The bathroom, though tiny, was gorgeous! We come to Memphis quite often as we have a beautiful granddaughter we come visit and have stayed in many places in the city. This will definitely be one we will book again. Cynthia

We absolutely loved this property. So many little touches. Friendly people. Fun location.

If we could give Tim's property 10 stars we would. Nicole was helpful with the booking/information, Miss Micheale personally greeted us the morning after we checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and Mr Norman took the time to greet us while taking care of the outside of the property. The apartment is an easy walk to Overton Square which is a fun entertainment complex. A Lyft to Beale Street was only a 5 minute drive/$7.00. We did walk to Beale street one day for the exercise. Since Uber or Lyft are so easy, I wouldn't bother driving. Parking was available both out front and in a lot behind the house. We loved all of the details in the apartment from the crown moldings, historic hardware, and bathroom tile. The bed was very comfortable and in a separate room from the kitchen. We made use of the Keurig and enjoyed the seating area for coffee while listening to the Pandora music on the Roku TV. Everything was clean and very well maintained. When we were checking out to leave, Micheale was back and asked how our stay was. She then took the time to show us another apartment that was unoccupied that could be rented on a future trip. My husband and I felt so welcomed. We do a lot of traveling and this property exceeded our every expectation. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.
