This is a perfect place to stay in Memphis, cosy and charming, close to most touristic places ( 15 min drive), 2 bedroom that can easily accommodate 4 people, one kitchen where you can easily cook. Host was accessible and easily contacted.

Generally the unit was clean. I suggest a deep cleaning. Half bath sink needs repair. Better direct communication and action to resolve access (rear entrance) and WiFi/tv issues were needed. Note debris on porch and yard when arrived; we had to request maintenance. Suggest coverings that are not see through for living room. More towels.

Excellent experience! Plenty of space. Incredibly convenient to restaurants, grocery, and shopping. Quick drive to Rhodes and a Planet Fitness right around the corner. Very clean. Great to have the off street parking as well!My family has stayed here twice and will stay here again!

What a charming house!! Was well kept, clean and accommodating for our crew. As expected with "apartment style houses", the walls were thin-ish - thin enough that I could hear the neighbor's alarm go off - just thought it important to point out if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, the place was great!!!

So clean. So thoughtfully styled. With relaxation in mind like soothing sound machines and earplugs. High ceilings. Generously sized rooms. Natural lighting and so many vintage details. This place will take you back in time and transform your stay at the same time. The host guidebook is extremely helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful meal based on the included suggestions. Check in and out is easy. Highly recommended. Thanks Memphis. We certainly plan to revisit

We loved this place! It was super clean and comfortable. It was in walking distance of the venue we were visiting and in walking distance of the zoo. Check in was convenient and easy and checkout was super simple. If ever in Memphis again, we would definitely stay here again!

The property was not as advertised. It was dirty and I contacted the host and voiced my concerns. Namely there was no stopper for the kitchen sink the iron didn't work.A caretaker came and cleaned a mirror and wiped walls with the worst spots. He brought a stopper that didn't fit and an iron .He said he would be back the next day. I received a message from the host saying the caretaker would by and clean. I left for hours went and bought a stopper so he could work. He never came The host messaged me to apologize and say the issues would be resolved after I left. I took pictures, sent them to him. Then I went to the laundry room, I took pictures sent them to the host and told him before I could use it I would have to clean it. Again I got an apology say this was not typical of their properties. I realized that I was not going to get anything done. So I took pictures to document what I saw as fact. Which I can send to you.

Property was great

Property was graeat and close to everything we wanted to visit. As many reviews indicated, owner may want to hire new cleaning service, upon arrival we had a dirty fork in the sink, mirrors have not been been cleaned in a very long time. Other than that , place is true to it's description, my daughter and i enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely return

Nice home! Great service and communication.

Everything was exceptional — clean, spacious (we love old houses) and turn-key. The neighborhood just to the west is not the cleanest — we stumbled on a dead cat on the sidewalk that had been moldering long enough that you’d think a neighbor would had shoveled it up! That said, the location is perfect for those (like us) who wanted to do Elvis, Beale and the Zoo. (The Zoo is amazing and in walking distance; otherwise you are driving places, which is no big deal since Memphis is easy to navigate and generally uncrowded inside the beltway.)

Wonderful Thanksgiving here

My wife and I hosted our son and his girlfriend here at this amazing property for Thanksgiving. We LOVED it. It was just the right size for the four of us. Two very comfortable sofas in the living area, in front of a big screen tv. When we weren’t cooking or eating, we sprawled on the sofas and read or watched the parade or napped. The management was so warm and helpful and agreeable. We had a small mishap and all they cared about was that we were okay. We want to do it again next year!

Lovely on the inside!

Dear fellow travelers, I picked this place because of its great pictures and historic charm. I truly was excited to stay here but unfortunately our stay here was pretty disappointing. My plane into Memphis arrived late so when I arrived at the house in the wee hours of the morning the first thing I noticed was two full trash cans sitting on the walk way. I hate to say it, but those trash cans were still sitting there when we departed five days later. Not sure why the trash wasn't picked up but most of the trash cans on this street stayed full and on the curb. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and as a woman I certainly wouldn't be walking home alone late at night (saw several people sleep on the street and on the church steps around the corner during all hours of the day). Also, the apartment complexes along this street look like Section 8 housing. A few other things I would like to point out...the house is NOT as clean as one would expect...hadn't been swept under any of the beds in God only knows how long (I dropped one of my rings so I had to search under the bed - not a pleasant experience), stepped into broken glass in the living room (sent pictures to the management company but they didn't send the cleaning crew to take care of the issue. Yes, they apologized but I expected someone to come and take care of the issue). If you need to work, know that the internet connection is really slow and the upstairs tenants are baby elephants. You won't be able to sleep in! A few other items that could be improved...lighting inside the home is poor (add some additional lights throughout the living area, bedrooms, dining room); the porch light is super bright and left on all night - need curtains that block out the porch light since you can't turn it off! And yes, decent hangers and a bath mat would be appreciated. There is a dresser in one of the bedrooms but no closet, and a closet but no dresser in the other bedroom. Hopefully this review will be helpful to the management company to hire a better cleaning crew as well as make some improvements. Thank you!

Quick Memphis Trip

Stayed here for a quick trip with our son who was looking for housing ( he will be attending SCO in August 22). This was a great central location - so easy to get to everything!!
