We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Argenti. Host Mario, his wive and son are very friendly and helpful.The nice villa, clean and well equipped, with multiple terraces is situated in the middle of an old olive grove.The surrounding garden is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. You can relax in your private little paradise and take a regular dip in the large nice pool. Mario and family thank you for having us. Best Dorrie and Heico

The villa was very comfortable and just as described. The real highlight was the pool and gardens which were wonderful; we particularly enjoyed making use of the different outdoor seating areas around the house. Mario was an extremely kind and helpful host, making contact with us before we set off with instructions for our arrival and checking in during our stay to make sure all was well. We were conveniently placed for visits to Lecce and Otranto both of which were well worth seeing. In all we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend Villa Argenti.

We had a truly great time at Mario’s stunning villa. It has literally everything you could wish for when thinking of the perfect holiday. A very cozy and spacious house with a lovely garden full of flowers and trees, fruits, vegetables, areas to cook, relax and of course the magnificent pool area. The villa is just perfectly located, close to beautiful beaches, historical towns like Lecce or Otranto and the village Borgagne itself, which has very chill, authentic vibes. Mario and his family are super friendly, very attentive hosts who make sure you are having a really good time. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable experience of Puglia, one of Italy’s most beautiful regions. Mille Grazie, we will certainly come back!

Wir durften einen entspannten Urlaub in dem schönen Haus von Mario und seiner Familie verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und wirklich sehr sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und lädt zum Kochen ein. Das tolle Haus wird aber vom Garten noch in den Schatten gestellt. Um das Gebäude herum gibt es mehrere Terrassen, je nach Tageszeit mit oder ohne Schatten, alle gut ausgestattet mit unterschiedlichen Sitzmöbeln. Der Bereich am Haus ist wunderschön gestaltet, mit Obstbäumen, Blumen und Palmen. Umgeben ist das ganze noch von einem großen Grundstück mit Olivenbäumen. Und dann ist da natürlich noch der wunderbare Pool, mit einer guten Größe zum Schwimmen und vielen Liegen um nach dem Schwimmen zu entspannen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wurden von Mario bestens betreut.

We have enjoyed a wonderful week in October 2021 at Villa Argenti. The house is a real recommendation for those who enjoy having their own house with full privacy and lots of comfort. We were there with our two kids. The house has a fantastic big garden and very comfortable terraces on all sides and on the roof. Sun, shade, wind or no wind, it is all at your disposal. The swimming pool + lounge areas and outdoor shower were a real treat. As one child couldn't swim yet, the fence to the pool was a handy reminder of the "no go" area. Mario and Antonella are super friendly owners, who were present at check-in, check-out and for spontaneous help needed. Thy have great eye for detail. What you see on the pictures is how it looks like in reality, or reality is better. The terrace is simply great. The town of Borgagne is at walking distance, for Italian style coffee at the local bar or for fresh bread at the local store. Within 25-45 mins driving, several culture highlights can be visited (e.g. Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, Galatina). The beach is at 5-10 minutes driving. All in all, we recommend staying at Villa Argenti.

Sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Villa hervorragend ausgestattet, sehr gepflegter Garten und Pool. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5-10 Minuten am Meer. Guter Standort zum Erkunden des Salento. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

This property has the most fabulous garden, pool and outside area we have ever stayed in, you are surrounded by lush plants, fruit trees all set in a massive olive grove. It's totally private and there are many outside areas to relax in with lots of comfortable chairs, pool loungers, tables and benches. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful. We have loved our stay and will definitely like to return.

We enjoyed the Villa Argenti very much and it was a save oase in such difficult times. We thank for the fantastic support, loved the cosy atmosphere, the wonderful garden, making Barbecue and swimming in this great pool.

An enchanting stay at Mario’s lovely villa. We were all impressed with the gorgeous garden, pool and outside areas. The villa itself had everything we needed and the bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed. We would most defiantly stay again. Grazie Mario!

What a lovely week , we loved the villa so much we only went out for one meal, we made full use of the local food and wines, and cooked up some storms in the well equipped kitchen. Mario and his delightful wife were on hand with any questions we had and were very pleased to be going home with some of there delicious olive oil. Already planning as to how we can come again!

We have just returned home from a two week stay at the Villa Argenti, just outside Borgagne in the Salento region of Puglia. The villa is fantastic, impeccably clean, cool with excellent air conditioning, and has everything you require for the perfect stay. The pool and gardens are truly wonderful and the fact that you are surrounded by your own private olive grove means there is also total privacy. The owner Mario and his family were always available not only to make sure that all our queries were answered but also to provide tips on where to go and more importantly what to eat; long live Pasticciotto! We will definitely be back again.
