Excellent trip to the unspoilt Megalong Valley. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break away from the crowds. Lovely little touches like the yummy slice on arrival and late check out which is always much appreciated. Tips for things to do locally would be Lot 101 Megalong - some of the best food, wine and service we've ever had. Worth every penny. And the Grand Canyon Walk outside of Blackheath. Only 20 mins drive and the most spectacular walk and a nice workout! Topped off with some amazing horse riding. A fabulous weekend away

This house is the most gorgeous little home! Super clean, and cozy - the photos actually don’t do it justice. To top it off, the host Jill is an absolute angel and even baked some treaties for our arrival. Would love to come again soon.

A spectacular stay in Megalong Valley

The Mill House is the most perfect place to recharge and enjoy the spectacular Megalong Valley views. Thank you to Jill for ensuring our stay was enjoyable, a thoughtful card, homemade slide and good local recommendations. The home is beautiful, and ample outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the sun throughout the day. A stay at the Mill House coupled with dinner at Lot 101 is the best experience in Australia. We will be back soon.

Brilliant country escape

An excellent property for 2 couples to relax in for the weekend with an event in Katoomba and a free Sunday in the mega long valley. Very well appointed house is luxurious & homely. Outdoor fireplace was perfect for a glass of local wine and a cheese plate. Great owner with excellent comms. Highly recommend.

Cosy and relaxing mini break at the Mill House

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in the Megalong Valley with the intention of a long lunch at Lot 101 farm to table restaurant and to test the scones at the Megalong Valley Tea rooms. Loved our stay at the Mill House which is well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in front of the outside fire place and the home made slice kindly left for our enjoyment by our host Jill. Make sure you check out the Lot 101 restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. We also enjoyed the zig Zag railway steam train ride near Lithgow.

Perfect Escape!

The Mill House was the perfect escape! The property was stunning, and the house was cozy, quiet, and well-equipped, with plenty of outdoor space, including an outdoor fireplace for making homemade pizzas. There were plenty of things to do around the property and the local area. Jill and Mark were great hosts; they were easy to communicate with, and the early check-in/late check-out and delicious homemade hedgehog slices on arrival were lovely. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our stay at “The Mill House” in Megalong Valley. Excellent communication from the host Jill. The property and house are well maintained and very clean. Also beautifully styled with country charm. House has all the creature comforts you could ask for. Perfect for a family of four. Loved the outdoor fire place and we made use of the BBQ. Lots of sitting areas to make use of the views and relax in the sunshine or shade if you prefer. Kids loved the lawn games and exploring the property. Stunning views, easy walk to the cafe at the Megalong Tea House and a great quiet base for a blue mountains weekend away. Would highly recommend and can’t fault anything about our stay.

Just Perfect

Ideal to kick back and relax. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you want to be involved. Close to wineries and walking tracks. Plenty of space and games to keep the children occupied. Already planning a return visit.
