  • Your family or group can have a "Mayberry" experience. Wake up to morning coffee with an amazing locally made apple pie, find a unique book at our state of the art library, splash in the crystal clear Medina River or play evening volleyball in our lit up court. Explore the Hill Country, Fredericksburg is 50.1 miles, Kerrville is 23.6 miles, Lost Maples is 25 miles, Bandera is 13.5 miles. Our home is good for families with kids, hiking adventurers, winter visitors, bicyclists and bikers.
    No Smoking Allowed inside or in enclosed back patio.

    No illegal drugs allowed on the property.

    Please be careful not to leave wet towels on the wood flooring.

    Please be mindful of our neighbors, by not playing loud music or outdoor activity after 9 pm.

It was the perfect location of a small quiet town with close community, close to Lost Maples and plenty of beautiful views when you walk outside.

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. The host is great with communication and had snacks and a bottle of wine there for us. Great location in the middle of everything. Great stay and definitely will be back.

The place was perfect for my family. We had pretty much everything we needed and the gift waiting for us was lovely. It was located close to the rivers and lost maples so that was very convenient. It was quiet and had a beautiful backyard we even got to see some fireflies.

Everything was great, the house was great, the beds are very comfy but noisy when turning over. The host left a personal note and some very thoughtful snacks and is very accommodating,I'm sure we'll be back Thanks Pablo

We love love this little house

When I go to Medina to visit family I always try to rent this house. We are always so comfortable and happy when there. I highly recommend staying here.

Mother's Day getaway

Me and my family enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and more. The area was quiet, was nice just being away from the city. Some good memories for sure were made here.

Lovely 2 Bed Rental in Medina

This rental nestled in the heart of Medina is right next to the Old Timer & downtown Medina. The upgraded home is quiet & restful with a backyard that looks out over a field where Axel deer visit regularly. I had a wonderful visit & enjoyed every minute staying here.

Cozy, Cute, and Accommodating

This property was super cute and cozy. Pablo went out of his way to make this one of the best stays we’e ever had with VRBO. The back patio and fire pit were very nice. Lots of little accommodations and amenities that added up to a great time. We will definitely be coming back!

I love staying at this little house. It’s so comfortable. I enjoy the atmosphere of Medina. The Core for some great coffee and cinnamon rolls and the apple ice cream at The Apple Store are staples of my visits.

The was just the right size

My son and daughter law moved to the small town of Medina so I go out there every few months. We enjoyed the little house, it was a perfect fit.

So cozy. Everything you need with a adorable backyard. Used the volleyball net with the kids and enjoyed coffee on the porch. Highly recommend!

Great little property

Great property and great host. House was clean and well furnished included a thoughtful array of gifts to enjoy during our stay. I was in the area to ride motorcycles and this is the perfect launching spot for that or any other adventure. Highly recommend, we will likely be back. Thanks!

Fantastic Vacation Home

We had a wonderful week long stay. The house was nice & comfi & really close to downtown Medina & my Dad. One of my favorite times was enjoying a morning coffee sitting on the back porch looking out over the backyard watching the deer. I look forward to returning next year.

Grandsons first birthday

I come out to Medina every couple of months. I stay at this house if it’s available. It’s always clean The communication is great. Check in is easy. I love the little town of Medina.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The space was cozy and impeccably clean, which made it the perfect home base for our trip in the Hill Country.Pablo was an excellent host—very responsive to messages and generous with local recommendations. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful welcome package they left for us. While we had brought some supplies, having the extra goodies was such a nice touch, and we really appreciated some of the snacks when we were out hiking the next day! It was such a considerate touch that really set the tone for our stay.We'd happily return and recommend this cottage to others!

Weekend getaway

Great location for anyone interested in riding the Twisted Sisters motorcycle route. It was beautiful cruising the area. Appreciated the tips given by Pablo and restaurant recommendations and the snacks provided. We also spent time at the local river spot with our kids swimming in the cool river. We visited the Lost Maples Natural Area for hiking and went to the Devil's Sinkhole tour. It was a great stay and house met all our needs.

Pablo was very communicative and friendly. Our family was in town for a funeral and we appreciated being able to have family visit us. The house is within walking distance to local stores. The house is located right on highway 16 at an intersection. I love motorcycles so loved watching them drive by. They do get loud so if that bothers you, this might not be a match.
