"We've stayed here twice. It's the ultimate spot for seclusion but it's just right down the road from Leakey, Lost Maples SP, Utopia and Garner SP. The drive from Vanderpool to Leakey is next level. The cabin is cozy with an awesome fireplace and comfortable beds. It's definitely our go-to spot if we want to be near Garner or Lost Maples. We will be back. "

"10/10 Recommend. Home is very convenient to Lackland AFB and SeaWorld. Our stay was well enjoyed in the home. Beds were very comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. Will definitely try to book again if we have any more trips to San Antonio!"

"Our family was looking to stay near Lackland for our grandson's BMT graduation. We easily got to the two days if ceremonies within about 24 minutes. There's a convenient Walmart close by. The check-in process was a breeze and the host was accessible and responsive to any questions. "So the house is beautifully furnished, the decor is very nice. My family said it's a nice 70s style house with a touch of modern, and the appliances work very well. There are no laundry appliances. River access in the back yard, is good, over grown with lily pads. But still very nice and great vacation spot."

"This vacation home has everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay, the stars on that deck at night are AWESOME!! The private river access was nice for the kids to play. Just a short drive to Garner State Park to float the river. We would definitely stay again!"
