Christmas in McCall

Came to McCall for a family getaway for Christmas. This house was perfect for 3 couples to have there own room and 4 kiddos to have there own beds. What a winter wonderland! So close to the lake and all stores and shops. Perfect house for a group to have a McCall experience.

Disappointment after check out

House is just as described, although the pipes are noisy in three rooms. Dishes were put away dirty in the cabinet, so had to wash them before use. Minor things…until after checking out. Received a call from VACASA on our trip home, advising of pet charges. I booked through Vrbo for humans and dogs. We had an extra dog which I emailed about right after booking to make sure it’s ok, all small dogs. No one cared to reply.We cleaned dog poop, even some of previous renters. We swept the area the dogs were in. We cleaned up after ourselves. This was our first experience with VRBO and probably our last. Way to destroy our weekend!

Just ok

Sheets were dirty with previous visitor’s hair. Comforter & towels were stained. Spa water was slimy & untreated. My wife & I both got splinters from the old unkept hardwood floors. Flue was open on chimney but house quickly filled with smoke when using fireplace. But the beds were comfy & house was not bad at all. Owners just need to put a little of their profits back into the property.

Two families stayed here for a wedding at Shore Lodge. We had more than enough room and everyone was comfortable. The beds were amazing!

Great Family Cabin

We really enjoyed our time at The Pinedale Cabin. The front porch, the back decks with tables, flowers and BBQ, to the fire pit in the fully fenced in back yard, (with no close neighbors on 3 sides) made for a very fun, relaxing time with our kids and grandkids. The kitchen was great too, with spices, pots, pans, utensils. Just a few minutes from downtown, grocery stores, and the lake. Beds were comfy! Dish TV plus online streaming of Netflix and Amazon Prime. And a really nice hot tub to top it off! Great place!

Great base for a long weekend

This property suited our needs very well - as we were a group including 4 adults and 3 tween/teen kids, in 3 family groups. Everyone could have their own space as needed, with plenty of common areas. The deck was quite lovely, and had it not been for the smoke, we would have spent more time enjoying the outdoor amenities. Pingpong table in the garage was a welcome surprise. Be sure to latch the bear-proof lid of the garbage bin--the previous renters had not, which a bear quickly discovered our first night. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great launch pad for activities!

Check in was simple. The house was a beautiful log cabin with a combination of wood/sheetrock walls. Nice great room and plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was well-equipped, and we ate in most evenings. It was nice to have the washer-dryer to prep for returning home. The hot tub is a 2-person tub; Im not sure that was noted. The owner provided wood for the fireplace, and it really heated up the place. Pretty centrally located in McCall, only a mile or two from downtown. Would definitely rent again.

Great classic cabin!

We love this cabin in McCall. Rustic charm with plenty of room for everyone. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. East walk to Shore Lodge and the Rotary Park. We would like to return!

Cluttered and not clean.

We can’t imagine why anyone would give this property a five star rating. The pictures were pretty accurate. However, if you could see inside drawers, cabinets and the garage the clutter is endless and things are not clean. This was troubling to us during this time of care to avoid COVID-19. The garage fridge appeared to have something that looked like black mold. We are happy to submit pictures.
