This house was just what we wanted. Close to the pool. Loved staying in this gated community. It was the perfect spot for our family. Very close to the beach also. We will stay here again if we come back to Matagorda.

As a small group of women, this property was excellent. Clean, cute condo in a very safe environment. We will be going back. Great time had by all.

Very clean unit with a well stocked kitchen. I liked the location, close to the pool. The pool is really nice, it’s big! The area around the pool is very clean and plenty of tables and seating. We had a great time, some shopping in Matagorda, lunch at Snappers and lots of swimming!

Fishing trip get away

Very nice house

This property had paths to the beach, a pool, and was really quiet. The amenities were just perfect for a weekend getaway. Our host was great with communication. Would definitely book again!

Great place!

We had an amazing time! Always love Matagorda but this was our first time staying here! The pool was awesome as well. The walk thru the dunes isn’t bad but take bug spray!!!

Great experience

We reached out to Steven last minute and within a couple hours we were checked in. Steven was very accommodating to our needs and was always quick to respond. Definitely recommend this property.

Weekend vacation

The property was great. There was a mechanical issue with the AC, but the owner was very quick to respond to my texts and had the issue repaired immediately. I would definitely reccomend this property to anyone. The proximity to the beach is awesome and my kids loved that there was access to a pool as well. We will definitely stay there again!

Fun condo

Steve was so helpful and easy to contact. The condo was very clean & beds were comfortable as well. Great location with views of the beach from both balconies. This condo community is unique to Matagorda as it has a beautiful pool area. Great for families . I have future plans to stay in this condo again for sure.

Awesome relaxation space!

Great views and close proximity to the beach! The house was clean and cozy and the bed was very comfortable! We didn't utilize the kitchen much but it had cooking equipment needed if you wanted too! The pool was in walking distance making it even more convenient. We highly recommend this rental.

Gone fishing

Great graduation trip for my son. Property was as advertised and very clean. Communication from the property owner was great and very accommodating. Hurricane Beryl had just passed through the area and property was cleared,cleaned and fully ready for our stay. Thanks so much.

Family get away

Great space, kids loved it. Owner super helpful and friendly. Easy walk to the beach, great pool! Dollar general, restaurants and convenience stores not too far away. Our son was in fishing heaven! Lots of places to fish near house. We will be back and we will share with others! Hopefully be able to get both units to bring more friends and family!

There were no cleaning supplies or dish detergent. No dish towels or rags. Tile floor broken and pinched feet. Dirty dishes in cabinet. The location was great with easy access to pool and beach.

While there were positive features about the apartment, we encountered several significant challenges. It is clear that the owner/manager is motivated, but it needs additional attention in order to earn a top rating.From the start, communication with the manager was dicey. they wrote in French, I relied in English. There was a switch mid-booking in the payment system that was fraught with problems. While I had confirmation that I had paid for the stay, I received threats of cancellation from the platform. A helpful step-by-step video was sent only the day before - revealed that the lift can only be accessed by a full flight of narrow circular stairs, necessitating lugging luggage for two up a flight. Once the lift finished, it opens to another half-flight of stairs to the actual floor of the building where the apartment is located. I would not have selected this place had I known how much schlepping was required.We had a devil of a time getting the key to work in the lock. The digital key stuck before unlocking — a service visit by a very unhappy service man got the thing open the first time, but we had to wrestle the lock each and every time.The interior was OK not great — tired furnishings, lots of the owner’s stuff laying about, no guide to the place and essentials — glasses, plates, etc. — hidden in remote places. The hide rug was a tripping hazard. Felt like we were in someone’s home instead of staying on our “home away from home.” Unlikely to redo.

Not clean

Though the condo was nicely appointed, the cleanliness of the unit was poor. The bed downstairs had blood stained sheets the size of a saucer and large, heavy print hanging in the stairwell hallway fell off of the wall because it was hung in sheetrock with nails rather than screws and anchors. There was only one remote control with good batteries and the tv's in the bedrooms did not work.
