"This house was great! Beds are super comfy, kitchen and living area is large and roomy. Kitchen was fully equipped. The house was clean. I do agree with others, more outdoor seating would be nice. But, overall we had a great stay. We visit Gorda several times a year and will definitely stay at this house again. The location is great!"

"My family is from Palacios and we have stayed at several homes there and this is by far the best home we have stayed in. My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished. Plenty of towels, kitchen essentials and games for the kids. Not to mention the cable was a plus."

The neighborhood was quiet and there were very few people on the beach. The only down side was the aggressive mosquitos but the host did prepare us for that."

"I was very surprised at the beauty of this beachhouse and the fact that we could have our dogs with us as well as extended family. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. The nightlights were a great help so we didn't trip during the night. We appreciated the TV/cable. "A nice house with plenty of space on the inside. The dock was very nice, a great size for fishing. We caught plenty of fish including redfish, black drum, flounders, sting rays, and even a small shark. It was definitely worth the trip, and I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place on the channel in Sargent."

The home is in a great location near the beach and close to enough to town for any last minute things we needed from Stanleys.
