"This bed and breakfast was a beautiful, charming, and lovely home with an attentive and friendly owner, who did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. It is the best stay we have had in the York area and outranks many places we have stayed elsewhere. We will be back!"

"It was so quiet and peaceful. Design of the manor was unique. On our arrival, we were able to check in early and we were able to visit our first winery in the area by walking a short distance. Several other wineries were close by as well as a shopping outlet. The only thing we weren't sure about was when the front door would have been locked. "I really enjoyed my night here! The room had so much charm, and the jetted tub and waterfall shower were lovely! The bed was very comfy and we slept very well! Breakfast was prompt and delicious! Joe was very accomodating! I would absolutely love to stay again, especially in the winter months when we could use the fireplace as well! Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"We had such a great experience at this stay. From how communicative the host is to feasibility of check in/out, the stay was stress free and accommodating. The host provided concise instructions, great hospitality and timely responses to questions which made this trip that more enjoyable. Everything was very well put together in the stay, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. I’d highly recommend this stay and will definitely rebook with the host in the future!"

"Pictures and description were accurate. Owner very nice, but procedures could have been more forthcoming. Beds, pillows and towels were excellent. Window AC was below average in sweltering heat and not the best. Nice seating and tables, just small. When there was an issue, owner was on top of it. "It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative.
