We very much enjoyed our stay with our family at this lovely large villa with a pool and also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The host and property manager were very responsive when contacted before and during our stay. There are many services such as vineyard and olive oil tours available through this property. We hired a private chef one evening and had a lovely meal with great service. Thank you Jeremy and property management team for your hospitality.

Perfect property for groups

We were a group of five couples who stayed here for a week at the end of June. The Trullo met our needs perfectly. We loved the very large kitchen with ample equipment and a dining table big enough for the whole group to sit around comfortably. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all nicely decorated. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace or in the pool area - there are plenty of shady areas to escape from the sun if necessary. All communication with the owners was very friendly and helpful, especially local restaurant recommendations. We bought wine at the cooperative and it was really good- definitely try the primitivo! We also bought cheese from the farm just down the road and would recommend their burrata, which was delicious! The check in/out went according to plan and the property manager was very helpful explaining everything. Thank you Jeremy and Kate for a wonderful week in your beautiful trullo.

The property description is not an hyperbole, and reflects the great location of these villa, outside town and the hustle and bustle on a large and private lot. Easy check-in and out and host services friendly and just a phone call away.

Hidden gem in Apulia

A beautiful house, very comfy, clean and welcoming. Great outdoors with fabulous pool and dinning space .Excellent base for travelling around Apulia. It's location peaceful and calm, making our family holiday so very special.

Wonderful stay july 2024

We had a perfect stay at the villa. Air conditioning and pool in good condition. Nice areas outside for relaxing, and we cooked dinner at the house several nights. The house is very well equipped. Nice bathrooms, and the bedrooms had extra pillovs/blancets. We were 10 persons for a week, and we loved it!

Prachtig huis

Een prachtig huis met alle voorzieningen. Mooi groot zwembad. Het huis ligt 15 min rijden van alberobello midden in het land en een zee van rust om daar te verblijven. Je wordt netjes opgehaald en de eerste keer naar je verblijf gebracht en netjes ontvangen.werkelijk alles is aanwezig en het huis was heel schoon. WiFi is aanwezig maar alleen in het huis heb je verbinding en bij het zwembad niet, ook heb je geen vaste internet verbinding alleen met de WiFi, toch 1 klein minpuntje wij waren met 5 koppels en hadden ook het verblijf uitgekozenen voor 5 slaapkamers met 5 badkamers maar er zijn maar 4 badkamers. Maar toch een heerlijk verblijf gehad en volop genoten

Our extended family, ranging in age between 7 and 66, had a wonderful stay in this lovely property. From the swimming pool to the bedrooms, from the outside seating ( and shaded areas) to the extremely well equipped kitchen we cannot fault it in any way. Couple this with the rural quietness and the ease at driving to the nearest towns for food shopping, dining and culture it has proved to be a perfect property.

Idyllic

We have had the most glorious stay at Casa Castagno and it served our needs amazingly - never have we had such an amazing rental kitchen but car hire is essential due to the location which is a peaceful haven. We have become addicted to Primitivo and the Puglian life style …. But not the Italian driving !

Une maison magnifique dans la campagne italienne

Superbe séjour dans cette magnifique villa rénovée typique avec ses trullis ! La maison et l’extérieur sont largement suffisants pour 12 personnes, et la maison est tres bien équipée ! Il y a quelques petites choses à rénover encore mais c’est un détail. La partie piscine est très bien aussi ! Il faut par contre savoir que la maison est isolée et que vous aurez besoin de votre voiture pour tout, sauf pour une belle ballade en campagne ! Je recommande le site !

Super séjour !

La maison est idéalement située en plein cœur des pouilles ! A moins d’une heure en voiture de toutes les villes et plages à visiter ! La maison dispose de 5 chambres (3 ayant leur salle de bain et 2 ayant une salle de bain commune), une cuisine parfaitement équipée et un vrai espace extérieur avec piscine et grande table pour les repas tous ensemble ! Nous recommandons cette villa pour vos futures vacances dans les pouilles :)

Quel agréable séjour!

Cette très belle maison typique des Pouilles, au calme, est située idéalement des différents sites touristiques. Nous avons apprécié la piscine, les chambres spacieuses, la terrasse. Bien évidemment nous recommandons cette location.

Prachtige Trullo in het bijzondere Puglia

Onze eerste vakantie in Puglia. Zeer mooie omgeving. Villa is centraal gelegen om zowel interessante steden te bezoeken als naar het strand te gaan. Groot zwembad dat lekker verkoelend is op de zomerse dagen. Zeer ruime keuken.

Great place for a family & friends get together.

Lovely rural setting amidst rolling hills & farms. Fantastic cheese farm 1km walk down the road. Kitchen set up enabled all in our group of 9 who wanted to cook up fabulous feasts using local produce found on our daily excursions. Outside terrace, dining area & pool were well used, especially our 1st week while the daylight lasted longer & temperatures were warmer. Screens on the windows (& doors), and maybe even some fly strips would have helped keep the flies outside rather than in; we created a new game of 'fly swatting Olympics' to try to keep the flies under control. Thank you for having a few fly swatters and food screen covers available to use to protect some of the food prepared. Puglia Perfect management group was extremely responsive when the oven was found to need repair on our arrival and when the electricity went out. Also for arranging our olive oil tour and cooking class with Lucrezia; we all found these informative and delicious. A little more instruction in the house information manual on how to use the thermostat to control the radiator heating would have been helpful (after the all day power outage it seemed the radiators were heating up during the day when not needed but not coming on at night which we wanted the 2nd week as the temperatures got cooler at night; also the pool lights were on in the day and not at night; this may have had something to do with the power outage affecting a timer?). This was one time Puglia Perfect was unable to help us figure this out. All in all we found Casa Castagno a great place for our group of 9 family & friends to enjoy each others' company, create great meals, take the cooking class arranged through Perfect Puglia and see the areas sights. A once in a lifetime dream come true for us.

Wonderful Trulli

This lovely property worked so well for the 3 generations of our family.6 adults and 3 children for 2 weeks.Enjoyed the rural peace and quiet and central location to explore nearby towns- 3 all about 15 minutes away. House well equipped to self cater.

C’es la deuxième fois que nous louons Castagno nous adorons cette maison cette fois ci un bémol. Des chiens errants avaient élu domicile sur la propriété et aboyaient de jour comme de nuit nous empêchant de dormir l’agence ne s’ est même pas dérangée et les abords de la piscine étaient remplis de papiers et de morceaux de plastique, Mais l’endroit est toujours magique

Beautiful house

We had a wonderful time here, the house and pool are really lovely . What isn’t obvious from the photos is how peaceful it is, there are only a few properties nearby and no noise. The night sky is beautiful as there is no light pollution, total relaxation! The children loved the pool, we couldn’t get them out! The surrounding area is very interesting, some lovely towns close by, we particularly liked Alberobello and Locorotondo, beaches are great too. Perfect Puglia who look after the house are great, any little problem and they attend immediately. Our grandchildren are already asking when we can go back! Highly recommended

Rural Bliss

A beautiful, very well equipped Trulli with a larger than average pool. Just returned from a wonderful week of good weather, delicious food and amazing sights. The Trulli was a super place to stay for all three generations of our family. I would highly recommend a booking.
