Set out in the stunning countryside, just over 5 minutes drive to the UNESCO town of Alberobello lies Trulli Pietra Luna – Bosco Selva. A charming restored 8 cone trulli with original features, large pool and outdoor kitchen. The property is tastefully decorated and furnished to compliment the surroundings. Sleeps 6 plus 1 baby in a travel cot or child on a Z bed.

The property has two entrances, one from the lounge and the other from the kitchen.

Entering from the double doors into:

KITCHEN / DINER

The modern kitchen is very well equipped with full size oven, 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso capsule coffee machine and of course plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 6 people. Nearby is a large dining table with seating for up to 6 people. Here you will also find the washing machine.

From the kitchen the hallway leads to door to:

TRULLO MASTER BEDROOM 1

The large double bed is situated under the huge trullo cone with feature light fitting. There are two alcoves for storage and overhead lights for reading. Through the stone arch is the dressing area with large 3 chest of drawers, mirror, hanging rail for clothes and small chair. The window looks out to the outdoor kitchen.

Note: It is also possible to put a travel cot or a Z bed for an extra child in this room

This large bathroom has a walk-in shower with feature rain shower head and hand held attachment, wash hand basin with plenty of storage for your toiletries underneath, WC, bidet, and towel rail. The window looks out to the rear of the property

With a walk-in shower, feature rain shower head and hand held attachment, wash hand basin with large mirror above and light. A cupboard below provides plenty of space for storage, WC and bidet. There is a towel rail and shaving socket. The window looks out to the front of the property.

This beautiful room with exposed stone walls and high ceiling has a large double bed under the stone arch. There are reading lights above with a bedside cabinet and lamp nearby. There is a large unit with hanging space and cupboards for storage of your clothes and a small mirror. The window looks out to the front of the property.

TRULLO BEDROOM 3

This room also has exposed stone walls and ceiling. There is a double bed with bedside drawers and lamp. A small dresser is nearby with drawers, a single wardrobe and mirror. The window looks out to the rear of the property.

Back in the hallway leading to:

LOUNGE

Situated under one of the biggest trulli cones with exposed stone walls, original wooden beams and feature fireplace. This spacious room has two sofas and an armchair, all perfect for relaxing on. Here you will also find lots of board games and information on the local area.

From the sitting room the double doors lead out onto the garden with far reaching views of the countryside.

OUTSIDE

VERANDA

Outside the kitchen is a covered veranda with 2 comfortable sun-chairs and coffee table with views over the garden.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN

This, stunning newly built area is perfect for al fresco dining at all times of the day. Enjoy cooking your own pizzas (we tell you how) or maybe have a BBQ, whilst in the shade from the sun. There is also a small fridge for cooling your drinks and a large sink and work surface for preparation. The dining table seats 6 people and nearby there is a cushioned seating area.

Three steps down to:

SWIMMING POOL

Enjoy a swim or cool off in the 8.85 x 4.5m pool which is entered via full width steps (perfect for sitting on). The depth is the same throughout and measures 1.2m. At night the pool can be lit different colours according to your mood by using the remote control. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool.

Six extra wide sun loungers with sunshades are nearby for you to relax on along with two large umbrellas for shade.

OLIVE TREE RELAXATION AREA

Enjoy a quiet moment away from the property reading a book or a morning coffee by the old olive tree. Here you will find a table and chairs seating 6 people

GARDEN

The property has a well-maintained garden area with shrubs and plants to blend with the environment.

HERB GARDEN

A newly created area found behind the outdoor kitchen where guests are free to help themselves to the herbs in season.

You will also find the washing line in this area for drying your laundry.

LAND

Further away from the property the land has been left as natural as possible; guests are free to explore and of course enjoy eating all our fruit in season from the fig, plum, apple, cherry, mulberry and apricot trees.

CHILDREN

We have aimed to provide a relaxing comfortable space for you to enjoy. We recognize that children and those young at heart need entertaining, with this in mind we have floats for the pool, internet, bats and balls, boules, cards, board games and a few toys.

We also provide free of charge for babies a travel cot, highchair and changing mat. Please note that we do not provide linen for the travel cot as often babies have sensitive skins, this you need to bring.

There is a Z bed which is possible to put in the trullo master bedroom or in the lounge alongside the fireplace.

EXERCISE

You will find 4 yoga mats and some light weights in the main bathroom.

ANIMALS

No animals are permitted at the property

PARKING

There is private parking off road parking for 3 cars.

LOCAL INFO

At the property you will find a house book full of lots of information on what to do and where to go. On arrival we will be only too pleased to give you more information according to your interests.

The famous UNESCO town of Alberobello is just over 5 mintues drive away with it's famous trulli houses, many shops, restaurants, excellent supermarket, wine tasting and fruit and vegetable market which is held every Thursday.

Locorotondo is only 10 minutes away is a beautiful traditional hilltop town with a weekly market shops, restaurants and wine tasting and far reaching views of the Valle D'itria
The beautiful town of Martina Franca is 15 minutes drive away and is full of baroque architecture, is host to an annual Opera and music festival and has a huge market every Wednesday.

Cisternino a town high up on a hilltop has fantastic views over the Valle D'Itria and surrounding countryside. Its centro storico (old town) is charming and has plenty of shops, cafe/bars and restaurants for all budgets and tastes. This is just over 20 minutes away by car.

Capitolo is the nearest beach, but there are many beautiful beaches and areas of more rugged coastline both on the Adriatic and Ionian coast in easy driving distance.

AIRPORTS

Both Brindisi and Bari airport are approx 1 hours drive. It is also an easy drive from Naples airport too.
