"We had a lovely stay at the Purple Victorian. We were in town for a wedding that evening, and its close proximity without a two night minimum stay made it absolutely perfect for us. I loved the style and charm of the room. It was especially ideal for Valentine’s Day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Check in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and easy. We highly recommend staying here."

"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

"We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again.
