"This site is nice. Definitely off grid. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard at a rock. The tioilet/porta potty to the site we booked was out of order so we needed to go to the next site over.We had to cut our trip sorry due to illness and couldn't get a refund."

There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. "We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries."

"What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "

"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Unit was very large with beautifully equipped kitchen. Bonus was it even had a dishwasher! Yard was partially fenced which was an added benefit if traveling with a pet. Only downside were the trains running in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and well maintained. Great value for the size and amenities. "

"It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there and we definitely be staying there again! Don't forget to bring smores to have on the open fire. "
