Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"We like the Sparrow because of its location - near junction of A46 and M6 and it’s quite comfortable as well. We didn’t try the food on this occasion."

"I booked this property cautiously, because it seemed too good to be true...£70 for the suite on the Friday of bank holiday weekend, including dog & continental breakfast! "I’ve stayed here a number of times and always been happy. This time I was out in one of the rooms at the front and was kept awake by the noise from the clubs kicking out until gone 5am. Not the staff’s fault but would have liked some sleep. Could have slept better in my car. "
