"Tres bel emplacement, maison neuve, mais finitions moyennes (carreau au sol pas droit, baignoire mal finie..) Dommage car groupe de 3 villas avec piscine commune, construction vite faite. Vite louées Il y a une machine a laver. Donc on peut voyager leger(que le bagage cabine des low cost) Une voiture est nécessaire pour voir les environs, notamment la pointe ouest de la crete... Tres bon sejour, la crete est magnifique, la maison a contribué a ce bon séjour"

"The villa is a bit remote, but a great place. We took a few days just to stay there and relax in this beautiful place with wonderful view to the sea and the mountains. But all the sights in the west of Crete are also in good distance; we hiked the Samaria Gorge, made a beach trip to Elafonisi, visited the monastery Arkadi and the nearby beautiful Chania. "Nice hotel in the calm location of the city. Friendy staff at the reception. We got second floor room with kitchen and two bedrooms, room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was equipped with owen, two coffee makers and fridge with freezer. There are three swimming pools in the courtyard of the hotel, two large pools and one little pool for the children. The beach is only few hundred meters away on the other side of the road. There you will find sunbeds with umbrellas included in the room prize....

The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles."

"Huisje ligt heerlijk rustig op een groot stuk grond, met een eigen zwembad. Behalve vogels, pauwen en kikkers hoor je niets. De keukenuitrusting is erg basic. Twee gezellige katten. "Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. Did think more effort could be put into a welcome basket maybe salt pepper...

"It has been an incredible stay. The house has all the amenities one needs and more to be comfortable. It's beautiful and has great views. It's within a short distance of some beautiful and warm beaches. The hosts are some of the best I've ever encountered, incredibly friendly and helpful, always attentive to anything we might need. They welcomed us with a breakfast that saved us since our flight arrived very early. The pool is perfect for the size of the house and allows for a peaceful day...

"We loved our stay at Johanna’s Kelafas home. The home was very private, beautifully decorated with many personal touches and everything needed for our stay. The grounds are beautiful, flowers, herbs, fruit trees! We especially enjoyed the fresh grate fruit! Great place to enjoy day trips to the beach, rural villages for an authentic Greek experience and restaurants in the area. Johanna was lovely and very responsive with recommendations to the area.
