"This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the cute downtown area of Marion. Host had a small box of chocolates from a local shop that was a nice welcome when I arrived. Cottage was clean and primary bed was comfy, however street lights shined in at night but there were blinds in the closet that I presume will be getting hung up to help with that. "The Cozy Cottage is darling and very comfortable! The white and black farmhouse style has lots of great natural light and is a joy to wake up to. The cottage is dog friendly, which is an huge plus. Outside there is a fire pit and the cutest little chickens. We would stay again!"

"The property was just as described. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. Was able to have the kids and grandkids over for a back yard BBQ and everyone had the space they needed. Good location, close to shopping and downtown Marion. Host reached out and checked to make sure we were getting his messages and if we needed anything."

"Booked this last minute for family coming in for a graduation. Great location that is a short drive to any part of CR, Marion, or Hiawatha. Looks to be newly remodeled. Way more spacious than it appears from the outside. Family said it was comfortable for sleeping and gave it a thumbs up. Gorgeous kitchen. Great communication by the owner. Will definitely keep in mind if we need to book a place again."

"This is a great little property that served as a perfect home base for a guys weekend set around an Iowa football game. The garage and grill were definite pluses. We will definitely consider using this property again for another similar outing in the future. The host was great to work with!"

"Girlfriend getaway - really cute house, very cozy and comfortable. Nice bedroom for each of us. Lovely kitchen with everything we needed, living room very nice to sit and chat in. "John was great in communicating to us. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not operating correctly upon arrival and the first night was a little toasty in the house! But the next morning it was repaired and cooled down so we slept comfortably! The house was clean and beds were comfortable. It’s unfortunate that the air conditioning was not working properly for one of the two nights we were there."

"Our family stayed here for the weekend while in town celebrating my son’s college graduation. The location was perfect, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The property was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, clean, accommodating and lots of little touches. They thought of everything! The backyard space could not have been better. Several spaces to relax and hang out, space to play cornhole and a fire pit. We will most likely be back in the area over the next several years and hope to stay...

"We stayed here for a weekend away with friends for a Hawkeye football game. Price was fair, owner was easy to reach and responded to questions about places nearby to eat after a long drive. Three bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with linens provided was great for less to pack. Neighborhood is a little run down but don't let that deter you from this home! We would stay here again."
