Nice time in NewBo

We had a lovely stay. The property owner had scheduled the exterior of the house to be painted, but after contacting the property manager, they stopped painting until after we departed. The house looked like the interior cleaning hadn't quite been completed. We had only one wash cloth for the upstairs, and some other things were out of place, but nothing earth shattering. The upstairs/downstairs combo was perfect for our multi-generational family.

Adorable well kept space

We were staying the night for a small get together and were amazed at the wonderful decor and all the thoughtful details that went into everything. A porch swing, a bathrobe, full set up for coffee, spices, pac man. This place is definitely a treat to those looking for somewhere clean and cozy.

We had a lot of fun here!

There is much to see and do here! Charming refurbishment. We had the entire house, so pay attention when you read that the stairs to go upstairs are outside! Repairs must be done; broken legs on both couches, missing smoke detectors, no handles on stove and refrigerator. The owner usually responds quickly. Cleaning staff very helpful. Great walk to New-Bo! Thanks for the fun time!

GREAT location and wonderful amenities

This house had a great location, next to a small park and with a short walk to lots of restaurants and breweries in NewBo and Czech Village. Very modern design and lots of nice amenities. A welcoming bottle of wine, and the House Manual were nice touches. Too many good things to mention! We would highly recommend the Kurik House!

Interesting

Overall the house was fine - a bit quirky layout with so many beds. We had a problem with the upstairs toilet and the woman who fixed it was super nice, timely and brought us a bottle of wine for our inconvenience. The house is in a great walkable location.

Great historical area

This property had a very comfortable feel as soon as you walk through the door. Having all the amenities on both floors worked perfect for our stay. Also access to many Bar/restaurants in walking distance made it convenient. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Fun Family Reunion

Overall very good. The house was clean and well decorated. Sleeping accommodations were great. With seven in our group the only thing needed was more large Bowls for salad and other sides for meals. Not a lot is silver wear. Would definantly concider this place again.

Madden Family Reunion

This is an absolutely beautifully restored historic old farmhouse that has been tastefully updated with modern conveniences and appliances, but retains it's old charm. VERY COMFORTABLE beds (like sleeping on CLOUDS-- SO comfortable!!) and accommodations, lots of room to have a large group be able to visit or sprawl out if they'd like. LOVED the big porch and porch swing!! TWO kitchens and two baths were wonderful! We have two elderly Aunts who needed easy access with their walkers, and there is a wonderful long wheelchair ramp and nice wide doors that accommodated them with no problems at all. And being within walking distance to Newbo and Czech Village and very nice shops and restaurants was a wonderful bonus. Our hosts were wonderful, so friendly and immediately available with answers to questions and recommendations. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a nice place for a larger group to get together!! We ALL loved it!!
