What's in this picture, you ask? Why, they're Christmas Trees. During my recent visit to Germany, I spent a couple of days in a village called Marialinden. One old man owns a significant amount of land around the village of Marialinden. This old man has been growing Christmas trees in this area for decades. This is a field of young Christmas trees.

Absolutely perfect location for karneval. Close to everything you need to have a good time. Great restaurants and bars nearby, transit is 30 seconds outside the hotel, can't ask for a better spot.
