Had a plumbing issue that took a while to resolve. It was difficult to communicate with staff on site ( not one person we tried to communicate with spoke English-they all spoke Turkish. Would never again stay where there was no lobby or reception ( thought this would be like “living in an apartment”) because my luggage was lost by the airline and because there was no desk, had to stay all day to wait for the delivery. When issues arrived, had to communicate through WhatsApp. Layout was poor-the bathroom was right next to the bed and because the door was frosted glass, could watch every time my partner went to use the commode-there was absolutely no privacy. Did not have the room cleaned or the linens changed in our entire two week stay. We got new towels only because we used the ones we had on the floor when the shower didn’t drain and flooded the floor. Whenever we had an issue, the standard response was to “send us a picture”. It might sound like we didn’t enjoy our stay, but we got used to things and really did enjoy it.
In a positive note, loved the location-was very walkable to major sites. Loved having the kitchen. Liked having an eating area, but it was right under the TV, so you had to watch your head and it was hard to watch tv while eating. Also, had a remote control that didn’t even go with that tv so we had to use the knobs on the back of the tv. The view from the room was excellent, and there was the surprise of a Christmas market right outside the door!
