Awesome house

Large group of us stayed here and loved it. The house has a great set up (especially with the loft/in law suite above the garage for those with infants/kids). Short walk to the beach. Great views of the water from the deck(s). We would definitely stay again!

House is set up wonderfully. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen was great to cook in. Easy walk to the beach. Manzanita is a great town. We had an issue with ants getting into our food on the counter. Cleaning service didn’t do a very thorough job. But house is great,

Clean. Plenty of rooms. Everything you need. You do not need to bring anything except food. Lots of spices & every kitchen utensil you need.Isolated but easy access to highway. Close to a quiet beach. Garage with EV charging. Fire pit out back was very nice.

The home was exactly as described. It was comfortable and accommodated all 13 of us. There was a problem with dog hair on the upstairs main bedroom sheets. And the guest house had no towels. The main house coffee machines did not work, so we brought the guest house coffee machine down to use. If these had not been an issue everything would have been perfect.It was a perfect layout.There was a nice walk to the beach with wonderful views.

Great for Family Gatherings

The location was quiet, but convenient to the beach and town. The layout of the rooms was ideal to provide space for privacy as well as family meals and play. My favorite spot was the front upper deck with a view and the sound of the ocean.

Family Get Away

What a perfect house for a large family gathering. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the forested back patio with a fire pit and the multiple gathering areas. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Great family gathering home

We had our entire family gather here for our holiday and couldn’t have been more pleased. The photos don’t do the view and property justice and it is closer to the beach than we realized so we walked down several times a day. A great choice for our group! Seemed cozy but also spread out at the same time.

Family fun

Plenty of space, beautiful property, would rent again! Comfortable beds, plenty of towels. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and lounging on the deck. Great weekend!

Manzanita Beach Ocean View

This property is lovely, spacious with incredible views. It was easy to cook in, had a great room for visiting, a big table for sharing - for a family of grandparents, parents and 'children" ranging from 4 to 19. There were nice touches for young children, plenty of windows with views, and yet beautifully cited for privacy. The only negatives were the space for three cars was tandem and it needed two minor repairs (window blinds and a door closure).It even had a fire pit safely tucked in the back.

Fantastic Large House in Manzanita, OR

This was the perfect place to gather with my large family in Manzanita, OR. The house comfortably accommodated everyone, and we loved the location ... overlooking the ocean; surrounded by large amazing trees; private. Two levels of decks was nice!

Manzanita get away!!

Beautiful property and area! Lots to do! Close to the beach and town. Great walking! Took a train ride out of Rockaway. Went to Cannon Beach and Tillamook for a fabulous lunch. Wanda’s was a perfect for breakfast!! Good trip! Great family memories

Best week ever (well, almost)

The house was perfect for our family reunion. The kitchen had most everything we needed. Laundry facilities with large wash and dryer. Beautiful weather (we were lucky!). Great beach area not far away. Have not major complaints.

Enough room for entire family

This house plus the extra guest house was enough room for our entire family of 4 full households coming together. It’s a little ways from the beach, but it’s tucked up in the trees with a forest behind the house, so it’s very peaceful and it has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Amazing house

I want to say this property was amazing, we had our kids and their families and the house had great spaces for all ages. There were always enough cups for coffee in the morning. We appreciated the spice cabinet as we made dinner at the house a couple nights. We loved the view and appreciated extra chairs in the garage. The fire pit made for a great night and awesome smores! This made amazing memories we will remember for years to come!

Great times on the Oregon coast

What a beautiful area! The house is sufficiently spacious for large groups. The location is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed walks, sunsets and bonfires. The views are beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. Double washer and dryer and feet washing station are useful. The house is nicely stocked with everyday supplies, kitchen tools and firewood. The EV charger in the garage is a nice touch. While the posting is accurate, the upstairs bedrooms do lack privacy as they are connected by a French door with a covering and there is not a private en suite. The bathroom over the garage does have a mildew touch. The hosts are accommodating and quick to respond when needed. Thank you!

Wonderful Family Rental

I rented this location for my mom’s 90th birthday celebration / family reunion and it was just about perfect. Altogether, we had 12 people (5 couples and a couple teens) and spent a good amount of time in the spacious family area , kitchen and dining nook, eating and drinking and watching the waves roll in. That wood fireplace was perfect for April, with plenty of firewood to keep things toasty. The beach is a short walk down the hill and we took advantage of the sun breaks every chance we could get to walk it. The distance to town wasn’t bad at all, no more than walking from downtown Cannon Beach to Haystack Rock, if you’re familiar with that area. Props also to the thoughtful AvantStay folks for leaving a delicious birthday cake, a bouquet of flowers and a basket of goodies to kick things off right, it was very much appreciated and a nice touch. A couple of things to be aware of that may need attention were specific to the apartment over the garage. It’s a fantastic setup with its own kitchen and sitting area , but there was a strong mildew smell and it definitely needed to be aired out each day. The full size bed could also use a box spring, as it seems to be an older mattress and didn’t do my back any favors. Everyone else said they were very comfortable with their beds, though; we just seem to have drawn the short straw. It wouldn’t take much to make that part of things A+. In sum, we really loved the place and would happily rent it again. Very much recommended!
