Very convenient and beautifully decorated and maintained condo in an amazing marina location. The amenities were just awesome with great pool, pickleball courts and also great walking trails. The stay was great and the house had all the necessary amenities to accommodate our family of 6.

Awesome place in Pirates Cove!!

We booked this property for family and friends for a tournament we were fishing out of Pirates Cove. This place is absolutely perfect. It is beautifully updated, clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. It is just a short walk to the marina and Bluewater Grill. It is right next to the huge pool, clubhouse and tennis courts. The owner is super responsive and very much concerned with making sure you have an enjoyable stay. I cant recommend it enough. 10/10

Pirates cove fishing tournament

Perfect location with easy access to all the events at the marina for the tournament. The early morning pickleball on the tennis courts outside the bedroom was a little excessive but not too bad. Will be back!

We really loved that all the activities we did in the Outer Banks were 15 minutes or less away. The community pool was less then a 2 minute walk and was so nice to use in between outings or after. We were also able to see the fireworks on July 4th from right outside our unit. We plan on coming back here the next time we vacation in the Outer Banks. The employees were nice and a pleasure to deal with. Our host was also very easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions we had. We went to the beach by Jennette's Pier several times and it was beautiful with free public parking only a few minutes walk from it. I would recommend getting there on the earlier side as it fills up quickly. We enjoyed staying here as it was relaxing with plenty of space for our family 4 to spread out. The balcony was nice to have coffee on in the morning.

destination get together

visiting family while they are docked there in the marina for the summer. This condo was perfect. the grounds are beautiful and the location to the OBX was perfect. the island itself is very quaint and locals are very friendly.

Great location

This was a beautiful and well maintained condo! The owner was helpful and quick to respond with any questions . The community of pirates cove is quiet and has many fun things to do from tennis to a large pool. We highly recommend vacationing here.

We love Pirates Cove, its in the middle of everything. The grounds are kept clean and the kids love the children activities they offer. All staff are so friendly. This is our second year at Pirates Cove and its where we plan on staying every year.

Pirates cove charmer

Location location location is perfect if you're into the pool, tennis/pickleball, and activities (we were!). The beds were comfy, condition of the condo very nice. The bunk bed loft was tiiighttt for anyone over 12, but the pictures posted are accurate. Can't say I was sorry to leave all the stairs behind, but they certainly were a good workout! Communication was excellent and kinks were attended to promptly. Great stay!!

Stress Free Family Vacation

After we got over a little issue with check-in, our stay was wonderful! The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do with the kids. All staff members were very nice and the owner was easy to communicate with if needed. We would stay here again for sure!

Had a great time celebrating our daughter’s HS graduation! Our family loved the volleyball court and all the local beaches. The cook your catch at the Blue Water Grill and Bar was convenient and absolutely delicious!

Great home needs tiny fixes

We had a great time and really enjoyed the amenities. A few minor things that will make the experience a little better for the next guest. The faucet handels for the master bathroom do not have a natural closing position. You can turn past stop and it comes right back on. The light to the dinning room fan would not come on. The remote controled the fan well enough but the light would never come on. Lastly the dishwasher was is extremely hard to close enough for operation of the machine. These were only minor inconveniences and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location; beautiful place.

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The property has many communal amenities such as a pool and hot tub and a restaurant in walking distance, it’s central to both Manteo and Nags Head, in particular. We enjoyed our time and the place was very clean.

Fantastic Experience

We had such a wonderful time in Mr. Whitehead's condo. It was exactly as described. We stayed in Pirates Cove last year for the first time but at a different location. The access to the pool and tennis courts were literally right out the door. The condo itself had everything we needed. It was spotless and truly felt like our second home for the week. We loved sitting on the deck at night. Pirates Cove itself is amazingly clean and everyone is so friendly. If you're considering a place to stay, you can't go wrong with this condo. Thank you Brian!

Hutchison family vacation

The condo is comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 1 eleven year old boy. We were not disappointed. Amenities were great for all ages, but not for people with mobility issues. The elevator in the condo location is out of order as well as the one in the BlueWater Grill. Many steps to climb. Food and service in the Grill is excellent. Make dinner reservations one day before.
