The perfect house on a beautiful property. Love the great room with the family table looking out at the water and the variety of birds. It’s also nice that the football fans can watch games in the cozy fireplace room. We really enjoy the wrap around porch with sitting areas

My family and I stayed at Maray Hills for a Thanksgiving getaway. There was lots of common area space for the 8 of us to gather, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping accommodations, beautiful views and plenty of property to walk around. The owners were so easy to work and everything from check in to check out was very smooth. We hope to return during the summer to enjoy more of what the area has to offer!

This is an older cabin however it's kept as though it's brand new. It has everything you need to prepare meals and relax comfortably while enjoying the outdoor area. We'll continue to come each year as we always enjoy our stay at Maray Hills!

The view of the river with a wall of windows is spectacular. We lost internet one evening and I was informed via text almost immediately by the Joe and Lara. There is a wonder (somewhat bump and rocky) hiking trail directly outside the house. This is a wonderful A frame style home far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to amenities as to not feel like a chore.

Very nice and well- appointed property on the Black Fork of the Mohican River. The home had everything we needed. Lots of river frontage and room for our dog to explore. Good communication from the owners. Joe brought us wood for the fire pit the first night, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend this property. Would stay again.

Comfortable and relaxing space

Spacious and relaxing! Loved the easy communication with the owners. Has all the amenities! Close to Mohican Adventures, so easy to get around. Love the special touches with the bird feeder, marshmellow roasting sticks, everything you could need in the kitchen! Lots of night lights. Cannot wait to come back!

Family Fun

Amazing stay! The views are incredible! We loved identifying all of the birds that came up to the bird feeders. Me son loved the swings by the river. Wonderful fire pit with wood already there, for a small donation. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Very clean. Communication with hosts was great. We were able to meet up with more family just down the road at Mohican.

Maray Hills Hideaway

The home is very spacious with a beautiful gas fireplace room with a loft above. That room would be so cozy during the winter months. We loved the big windows and being able to see the Mohican River right outside. We enjoyed having a bonfire on the grounds and did get to go tubing on the River! The accommodations worked well for our family and it was nice having lists of other activities, restaurants, shopping downtown, and trails in the area to explore. The house is a little hidden so look immediately to the left when approaching. The different birds were exciting to watch and we loved seeing the wrap around deck. I wished we could’ve stayed longer! Our pets did very well too!!!

Quick family trip!

Perfect spot for our family to get away for a few nights! Lots of space for everyone—we enjoyed the birdwatching, fishing, and nearby hiking trails. The hosts were excellent communicators, and the location was great.

Lovely Cozy Spot

My friends and I very much enjoyed our cozy cabin trip at this lovely property. The highlight for us were the gorgeous windows in the main room, which gave us an unencumbered view of the birds at the feeders. It was so peaceful and entertaining that we didn’t turn the tv on at any point. And the morning of our last day we saw a bald eagle who flew by and then perched on a tree across from the house for several minutes. It was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our very kind and generous hosts who invited us up to their maple syrup sugaring shack to watch them make fresh syrup. We didn’t take the opportunity but very much enjoyed the tasty syrup they gifted us.

Birthday gathering

The property is absolutely gorgeous with a waterfront and an extensive yard that is private. We especially enjoyed the great room with large picture windows perfect for birdwatching as well as the long family dining table. The host is very friendly and helpful. Such a good weekend trip!

Peace in Earth

This was a beautiful Christmas vacation. The property was serene. Beautifully maintained and impeccable. We were greeted with an amazing freshly cleaned smell as soon as we walked in. Very spacious! The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies you need to prepare and serve meals. The owners even took care to ensure multiple Christmas trees were up for us. The bird feeders were kept full our entire stay even though it was December. My family was in love. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Family Christmas Cabin

A unique and cozy cabin, perfect for our adult children to gather and enjoy Christmas together. Clean and well equipped, accommodating our love of cooking and hanging out with an open kitchen.
