"We really enjoyed our stay at Rushing Bear. The gated porch and side yard were perfect for our dog to be with us. The cabin is very clean and accommodating. The owner is very responsive to all communication. We were pleasantly surprised to find an actual bedroom upstairs since there isn't one pictured. We thought our teen son would need to sleep in the bed in the loft that was pictured, but he ended up having more privacy than expected. One thing to note is that it isn't as secluded as it...

"We enjoyed our stay, the place was extremely close to the shops and amenities downtown maggie valley and about a 15-20 min drive to Cherokee. The host was very quick at responding and was accommodating, they allowed us to check in a little bit early so we could unload the motorcycles to ride. We would definitely stay here again in the future "

"Leslie, the home owner, was easy to communicate with. She was pleasant and highly accommodating. We traveled for a conference and enjoyed a little respite in her cabin. I enjoyed how it was close to town, but secluded with only a couple other properties in the same corner. The cabin was like home and the hot tub was an oasis after long days. We did not have any issues during our stay and would gladly stay at Leslie’s property again. "

"First off, this cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Second, two driveways and an easy drive in from the main road make this cabin easy to access. I stayed here with a heavy duty truck, 16’ tandem axel trailer and 1 motorcycle and had no issues with parking the truck/trailer and motorcycle. The driveways could accommodate a longer trailer if needed with no issues. 10/10 would stay here again and make the trip back from Florida. Only thing I would change would be the addition of a dishwasher....
