I appreciate the offer of early check in. Thereafter, the owner left us alone but was available via WhatsApp during normal business hours, which I also appreciated. Apartment should have provided paper towels etc if they wanted us to clean, but I bought them at the store next door. Location was good, but note that the street is undergoing major construction, which renders the terrace unusable (as of Aug 2025). All in all, a good home base for Madrid, would stay there again.

Overall a good place but needs improvements

The location and size of the apartment are excellent. However there are some areas that need to be updated. There is mold in the apartment as there is not enough air circulation, plenty of ants and other insects in the apartment. The WIFI is not reliable as it goes in and out all the time. The street front door is very difficult to open and the neighbors are not welcoming as they don’t like the apartment to be rented for short time stays.

Spacious, clean apartment in safe neighborhood

My husband, adult son, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous old-world apartment! Well-outfitted, clean, with fantastic host communication. Safe, residential neighborhood near Metro providing easy access to major sites without being in a tourist district. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Comfortable furnishings and small balcony. Lots of great restaurants right on the same street and a grocery store too. Perfect place to stay in Madrid!

Madrid city trip

Excellent apartment in a good neighborhood. The apartment has all the necessary equipment and a stylish interior. We loved it! Our family consists of 5 persons (M, F, 3 children 21, 20 and 17). Madrid has a lot to offer and the apartment is the oasis to refill your tank.

Perfect stay!

We loved everything about this apartment in Madrid. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of 3 adults and a short walking distance to a supermarket and many great places to eat. Highly recommend!

Wonderful clean apartment in a fabulous location

Our family of four had a fabulous stay in this apartment, very clean and quiet in a lovely neighbourhood and location. Supermarket downstairs was very helpful. Check in and out was great. Plenty of space for us all to enjoy Madrid!

Exceeded expectations!

The BEAUTIFUL apartment is in a great location and was stocked with everything we needed! The hosts were available every time we needed them, including helping me retrieve a lost phone which I would have never gotten back without their help. Highly recommend!

A wonderful apartment

This apartment was so wonderful. The location was perfect - quiet, but easily walkable to everything we wanted to do and see. Clean and tidy and filled with all the things we needed for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment and location - we will be back!

Great neighborhood!

The building is very pretty and the apartment looks like the photos. The building has an elevator, and the unit has a washing machine. The property manager greeted us when we arrived on Christmas night, which we really appreciated. We were not able to try the restaurant downstairs, but went to several in the neighborhood and they were all hits (perretxiCo Chamberí for dinner and Levaduramadre for pastries were both good). The grocery store next door is good for snacks and drinks, and there are two Metro stops within a couple blocks. We were very pleased with our choice!

Perfect location; large comfy, beautiful apartment!

This is a perfect location. Close to metro as well as plenty of restaurants and markets on the block. Safe clean neighborhood. The apartment is as it appears in the pictures and is even better in real life. Big tub, comfy beds, quiet sleeping. VERY charming and clean. Check in and check out were very easy and you have total privacy. Highly recommend!
