A large group of us are turning 60 this year and decided to celebrate at Beaufort House. Great choice we made. Beautiful country setting in an exquisite house, with extremely kind and accommodating hosts. Wonderful to enjoy meals in the main dining room and gather in several warm and welcoming rooms before and after dinner. Very cozy bedrooms as well. Everyone of us (15 in all) had a fantastic time--both at the house and traveling from it to Irish beauty beyond compare. PERFECT!

We had a family celebration - 45th wedding anniversary and Donald and Rachel were brilliant. The house was better than expected as the rooms were very large and there was even servicing in the week. Everything we wanted was provided. The arrangement of the property enabled the 17 of us to be able to be together at times and also to give each group space to themselves. We had great weather so it was also easy to have a barbecue for all as well. Just a truly memorable experience.

My family plus my 3 siblings and their families and my parents all stayed for 5 days. The property is amazing, we felt like we were staying in a castle! The younger kids loved running around the gorgeous yard and going to river. We had spectacular weather so were able to eat dinner outside a couple of times. We did day trip from Beaufort as our home base and it worked smoothly. Everyone is hoping we can go back some time soon! Truly a vacation no one will ever forget! So much room, each family had their own space and kitchen. Five stars from us all the way around!

We stepped into an old world at Beaufort. What a brilliant and beautiful property. We stayed with 28 others from the US and no one wanted to leave. It’s just far enough removed from Killarney that you get the dark sky and quiet mornings. You can hear the river and see many species of birds. Donald and Rachel were fantastic hosts, helping us with catering and anything we needed. They left local eggs, butter, bread, and milk in all the cottages and it made our first couple mornings so much easier and enjoyable. We can’t stop thinking about our time there. We can’t wait to go back.

19 of us stayed at Beaufort House while celebrating our daughter’s wedding. It was a wonderful experience in every way possible. Donald and Rachel are delightful hosts, welcoming, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and very responsive. Their home is beautiful, elegant, and comfortable. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit. The location is also great, just a short drive to Killarney and walking distance to two very nice pubs.

The Beaufort house was everything we were expecting and more ! Each kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, the beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were in great working order. The owners were super accommodating and available to answer any questions. The grounds are gorgeous, we especially enjoyed our evening walks by the river and saying hello to the neighboring cows. And the three resident Labrador Retrievers were a fun bonus, so playful and friendly. If you are considering the Beaufort house we highly recommend it !

Beaufort House was the most perfect backdrop for our family vacation. Hosts Donald and Rachel were amazing and so very welcoming. A beautiful and special home that they shared with us. Noone wanted to leave including my teenage nephews! High praise for sure. I think a visit back is in our future. Thank you again.

The experience at TBH exceeded ALL of our expectations! Donald and Rachel helped make our wedding week with family of 24 the most perfect of settings. The house, cottages and grounds are exquisite, and the warmth and service we received were exceptional. We recommend the Beaufort House for whatever your vacation plans might be! Blessed to have been able to share this special place for our special family event.

Our extended family stayed on the property for a family wedding at the Dunloe Hotel. The house and cottages are great - as nice as on the website and in the videos. We had a range of ages from 10 - 81 and it worked out very well. The property is lovely and we had a chance to enjoy the grounds and some of us went fishing. The owners and their team were welcoming and helpful. It was a memorable stay and well worth it!

Donald and Rachel were wonderful hosts and the Manor was a awesome experience. We had 30 family members stay and we felt we had plenty of space between the main house and cottages. Memorable holiday for us all! Also, Oscar (Labrador) was a wonderful escort for the nieces and nephews for their daily walk to the river.

Fantastic property for a large group. Communication with owner was easy and respond was swift. . Housekeeper on site was extremely helpful. The whole stay was wonderful. In particular the catering company recommended by owner did a superb job.

Beaufort house is an absolutely stunning propery. We were a large family group with ages ranging from 1-71 years of age and all enjoyed the visit immensely. The grand main house was great for our big evening meals as a group seating 16 at the main dining table comfortably and we were able to set up separate kiddies tables. The drawing room and library with their beautiful fireplaces were perfect for relaxing and catching up with everyone. The area has great hiking in the forests and mountains. You must visit!!

We were planning to get married here this week, but amidst the pandemic, all plans needed adjusting. Donald and Rachel were so accommodating and helpful as we turned our wedding trip into a retreat. The an entire estate is very well maintained, would have been absolutely stunning for a wedding. Each room in the house had character, and our family loved their respective rooms. We didn't end up needing the cottages, as most our guests cancelled, but Rachel let us peek in at them anyway. Very quaint and would have been perfect. Both the house and the cottages seemed to have everything you need for a great trip to Killarney and Beaufort. We will be returning with more guests in the future.

From the first interaction to the last both Rachel and Donald have been outstanding hosts! They were so accommodating and made the greatest effort to make sure we were well taken care of! We had a family celebration and I truly can say there is no location that would have come close in comparison. We hope to stay at their house again and loved every moment of it! Even the beds and pillows were perfect which allowed us to rest up and have a great nights sleep! Hope to be back soon! My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer! Truly have nothing bad I could say about our experience there!

We stayed in Beaufort house for the weekend as a 30+ group including children. The setting was perfect we had the most fantastic time and Donald and Rachel were fantastic hosts. Thank you so much for accommodating all of us :)

We cannot say enough good about the Beaufort house and cottages. We had 24 family members together for a week and each day just got better. We had the main house and two of the cottages which gave us room to spread out but still be together. We loved the parlour for family meetings and devotionals, the library for games and quiet time, the dining room for eating and playing Mofia by candlelight. It added atmosphere to build fires in the fireplaces. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. We invented a game of “Beauford House scavenger hunt” that was so fun and lasted throughout the week! Someone would take a picture on their phone of a picture, or object in the house and post it. The rest of the family would try to be the first to find it throughout the day. So many interesting things to take pictures of!! We also LOVED the grounds where the kids could safely play. The swings, the river for swimming and fishing, the grass for frisbee etc.; the patio for eating when the sun was out. We loved being close to the Gap of Dunloe and the National Park. Our hosts were helpful and provided us with everything we needed and extras. We didn’t realise we would have a housekeeper come in each morning! Thanks to our hosts for providing this amazing place. We loved it and we loved Ireland!

Donald and Rachel were phenomenal host for our week there. We rented the entire estate and hosted 40+ for a wedding. We couldn't of asked for a better location. The town of Beaufort is perfect for walking to grab a quick bite or just to have a pint. Killarney and other local attractions are just a short drive or taxi ride away. I would recommend this to any one regardless of the size of your party or travel arrangements.

We had a family birthday celebration for a week. There were 26 of us, ages 1-70+ . Rachel and Don could not have been more helpful and Noreen who helped in the main house is a gem. We fished, hiked, golfed, rode pony carts and boats thru the Dunloe Gap, trail rode, explored Killarney Dingle and the beaches.. And had lovely meals in and out. We are calling it a “Magical “ vacation

We rented out the entire property for a special celebration with family and friends. It was everything I was hoping for. The house and cottages are lovely and extremely comfortable. The grounds and views are beautiful. The hosts/owners are extremely gracious. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
