Beautiful!

Pros: everything! It was all beautiful! Basement had a bedroom and upstairs had 2! 2 full baths and 2 kitchens! My kids loved it! Nice hottubCons: couldn't get DVD player to work, couldn't figure out the grill and the fireplace was out of order. The gnats and carpenter bees were sooo bad we couldn't go outside! It's also a 30 minute drive to the closet store all on a small back road!all dminute drive

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect cabin especially with young kids. Our kids enjoyed the playground, short walk to the river, tetherball and fire pit to make s’mores. Inside was just as fun and comfy with darts and ping pong. We would highly recommend booking this cabin for a relaxing getaway!

Excellent property and location!

We love hiking in and around Shenandoah National Park. I've stayed in and around Luray several times and this was my favorite place we stayed; would love to go back here again!

Quite and off the beaten track

The house was clean, and the best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Everything worked. it is located down a gravel road so there was very little traffic, back in the country kind of setting but just about 20 min from downtown.

Exactly what a cabin should be

Great property! A short 2 min walk to the river. Hot tub, fire pit, and big children’s playground. Nice welcome basket and has both K-cup and drip coffee makers. Pet friendly. Definitely get your groceries before coming up — it’s 25 min drive back into town.

Review.

The stay house was great. Although when we first got there, we weren't there but for maybe 30 minutes and the power went out. We had no service and no idea what was going on so we had to drive into town. The helicopters were trimming the trees so the power was intentionally cut off. The hot tub could have been cleaner, there was a film on top of the water and a lot of dirt in it. But besides that, it was a great time! 😊

Lovely river setting. House is ideal for families and friends. I went with friends and we were able to relax and enjoy the calmness, but lord for kids to do too. Loved the layout of house and porch, can all hang out or have separate groups, because we know how families are :) hot tub right under porch, and two nice bathrooms. Highly recommend!!!!!

It was on a beautiful and peaceful property. The house was extremely clean. Hot tub well maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit at night. Our family had a wonderful time here.

Mediocre and Needs serious repairs

Upon arrival, you are greeted by a deeply rutted driveway which is only acceptable if you have a 4x4 with high ground clearance. It's in desperate need of repair so that standard vehicles can navigate it without having to carefully drive on the side of it. Then you get to the property, which has tiny bedrooms. There is barely enough room for the queen beds and you literally have to shuffle sideways to get in and out of bed. Then there's the water. Very strange smell, and terrible taste, would definitely not drink it. Very glad that we brought our own water because it is definitely not drinkable and I wouldn't prepare any food with it. Hot tub doesn't mention it's another tenth of a mile down the deeply rutted driveway and that over half the jets don't even work. And don't even think about sleeping in. Not a single window has curtains, only very thin blinds, which means whatever time the sun gets up, so will you. Afternoon nap? Nope, not happening with all the bedrooms filled with sunline. And when they said internet might be spotty, what they really meant was that you had 50/50 odds of even being able to load your email. Don't even think about doing a google search. Hope that you have satellite nav for your vehicle, because no way maps will load. Overall extremely disappointing with many areas that need improvement and repair.

Cabin was wonderful!

Cabin was well stocked with the essentials aiding in less packing for a quick getaway. Upstairs and downstairs can easily be used by separate families if needed as everything is on both levels, kitchen, living space, bathroom, bedroom, fireplace. Only opportunity was the distance to hot tub and river appeared closer than the 0.25 mi walk to both when reviewing on website.

Nice out of the way place

Way off the beaten path. Would be a REALLY nice getaway for a family. Especially if you wanna get away feom everything. Property is beautiful, just needs to be mowed.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy!

My husband & I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our friends had a wonderful time at Heaven Can Wait. We stayed in the pool house which we fell in love with. Main cabin has a 2nd smaller kitchenette on the first floor with a bedroom and bathroom so great for 2 families. Pool was fantastic! Access to river was not great for seniors (60+). Hummingbirds and sunset and sunrise views from the wrap-around deck were amazing. As mentioned previously, the road in is NO OUTLET for about 14 miles of which 6 is unpaved. Makes trips to Luray (I fell off the step by the back door and needed medical attention) very long but also means the location is very peaceful. There are a few RVs on the next lot which were occupied during our stay. We loved it all!

AMAZING POOL!

The pool/hot tub were hands down the best part. Close to Luray for a day trip to the caverns. The road from Luray is a bit rough, but that is not the cabin's fault. The cabin was very cozy and beds were comfy. The pool house was beautiful inside. We saw a lot of deer and wild turkeys. Definitely recommend if you want to get away for a quiet couple of days.
