It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. "

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "

"No evening meal staff great stupid on line check that does not work for tourists thank god for great staff. Business needs to invest in people and workakable IT system or better still let the staff do it for no cost"

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
