Activities right at your fingertips
We had a lovely stay, the kayaks and canoe were the feature of one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed paddling around Lake Pauline and checking out both dam areas. The house is very clean and well maintained, we fell in love with all the windows and light coming in the bedroom across from the bathroom. The quick walk to the sugar house was a feature for my kids, they also loved having the wii in their room and playing Mario kart with their aunt/uncle.

Tranquility by the lake
We stayed at the cozy cottage and took advantage of late skiing at Okemo which is a fantastic family mountain. Being by the lake makes you chill and unwind.

Cozy Cottage Fun
This was our first stop on the way to see the eclipse. Our only request was that we didn’t stay longer. Loved seeing the wide life, getting maple ice cream down the street, and the absolutely adorable setup. Would definitely come again!

Cozy getaway
Our family of 4 found the Cozy Cottage to be the ideal spot for our ski getaway. With an ideal location, beautiful surroundings, warm and welcoming furnishings and amenities, the Cozy Cottage was just what we were looking for.

Great house & small touches.
While it rained almost our whole stay the house stepped up to provide ....as described..a cozy cottage feel. Fireplace is fantastic...loving area so wonderfully communal (all to gather and we're a family of 5 all 18+ ) . House is ridiculously quiet despite being on a road fairly traveled during the day...no issue at night anyway when day traffic is gone. House sort of provides everything you need ...and can only imagine how nice it is in better weather (be it snow or sun) . Highly recommend.

Cozy place
Great setting. Right on Lake Pauline. Warm and inviting house that felt more like a home. Love the coziness feeling throughout the house. The temperature was in 20’s and 30’s during our stay so happy there was flannel sheets on the bed. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.

Charming cottage!
Had a quick getaway for the weekend; had everything we needed! Cottage was incredibly clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was quaint. Beautiful view of river and decks were amazing-though we didn’t get to enjoy them much because of the rain. Overall, very happy with our stay!

Awesome fall stay
My wife and I had a great time. The lake is beautiful and it was a great area to enjoy fall in Vermont. Lots of restaurants, hiking, things to do in the area. Was awesome to have kayak/canoe on the property to explore the beautiful lake that the home is on. Inside the house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our pup also loved the stay and playing in the yard and swimming in the lake. Would definitely consider staying at this property again during any season!

Fantastic stay

Cozy cottage
We loved the relaxing feel of the home and location. We saw all types of wildlife, beavers, gray Herron, toads and an eagle. The time of year the pine trees shed needles which made a messy entrance into the house. I suggested an electric blower would be helpful because you don’t want to spend your vacation sweeping. Other than that one issue we love Ed our stay!

Cozy Lakeside Stay
We love Ludlow and have stayed at several different properties around Lake Pauline. I have wanted to stay at this property since I saw it on Vrbo. I loved the look of it and the location, and the actual experience did not disappoint. The home is thoughtfully decorated and planned. They have everything you need!!! We brought our own kayaks, but did not even need them. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of great outdoor furniture, the beds were comfortable with linens provided and extra pillows. The location is amazing!!! We were able to drink our morning coffee on the beautiful deck, go out on the lake for kayaking, and then be downtown to hit our favorite spots in 5 minutes!!! I really cannot say enough about this house, well actually I can. I kept saying during our stay this is exactly the kind of house I want to buy for our family!!! Kudos to the owners, they really have something special here!!!

Cute getaway spot
We stayed a few days and had an awesome time. The house is very nicely decorated and very cute. Plenty of room for everyone in our party. Kids loved the bunk room with the Wii House is situated directly on the water, my 12 y/o got up and fished right off the deck ALL day. Caught several very nice rainbow trout!! Thanks for sharing your home with us. I would only suggest maybe a standing fan in each room, as there was no celing fan and it got hot during the night. Otherwise such a cute home!

Beautiful House
We had a great getaway at the house. The house is beautiful with lots of charm. The house faces the river with beautiful decks; the road out front is heavily traveled which may be of concern to some people. Kristin was easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Back to Nature
Property is as described. The furniture was comfortable, plenty of supplies, and providing kayaks and canoe was really nice! We spend every day out on them- just down the lake the water dam is a fun spot to get out and swim. Deer, beaver, bass and a turtle who we saw dig hole and lay their eggs on the property. Home is close to downtown. If you bring your dog a great place to take them for a walk is Fox Run Golf Course((2miles down the road) as they have a dedicated dog trail which is a snowshoe trail in the winter. If you take second entrance into the parking lot across the club house you will see the dog trail sign and bag dispenser. Once you get up the first incline it is flat and actually goes to the cemetery in the center of town. Enjoyed Mr. Darcy's Restaurant and a drink at the golf course at the end of the day.

Great place on the lake!
We had a great long weekend stay - the house was everything we hoped it would be! Plenty of space for our family of 4 (plus our puppy) and all the amenities we needed. The lake was fantastic - we took the kayaks out and explored every day. More than enough firewood at the house for fires outside at the fire pit and inside in the fireplace. Close to lots of activities to keep us busy. Communication with the host was fantastic and accommodated all of our needs. We will be back for sure!

Quick drive to skiing
The cozy cottage was a good spot for our family ski trip. It is only a 5 minute drive to Jackson Gore base at Okemo, where there was ample parking each day. The cottage is truly cozy, but there was enough space for my family of 5. Route 100 is busy and there is no place to walk your dog, if you bring them, which we did.

Cozy Cottage
We had a wonderful stay for our Christmas vacation trip this year (2022). The cottage is wonderful and in a great location. Our trip involved skiing and we had easy access to Killington, Okemo, Bromley, Stratton. The host was easy to get in touch with and responsive. The home is well maintained and stocked with pretty much all that you need. We would highly recommend this property. The Dahnke Family

Cozy cottage!
Stayed at this cute cottage on our first trip to VT. The cottage is adorable, and so cozy, clean, and well equipped. It had snowed 16 in 2 days before our arrival, and everything was shoveled, and the snow made the view from the deck even more beautiful. Convenient to okemo. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, cozy spot close to Okemo!
We loved this super cozy, adorable spot on a small lake, but sadly had to depart earlier than expected due to illness (and our pugs being unable to settle because of their spoiled at-home routine lol). We absolutely will book it again (this time while the dogs are with the pet sitter!) as its close proximity to the mountain, restaurants/shops is awesome, yet it's secluded/quiet enough to be a quiet getaway. Wonderful property!

Cute cottage on the lake
A well thought out and lovely cottage to stay in. We enjoyed thanksgiving break and were lucky enough to ski every day in Okemo that was very close. It was a comfortable house to relax and spend time in with everything we needed. Such a pretty setting on the lake. We would like to visit again!

Wonderful November Weekend!
My two teen girls and I had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage! I really enjoy Ludlow in November. It's quiet and easy. I highly recommend this time of year! The cottage was relaxing and enjoyable. Plenty of space for the three of us. We went for a kayak and enjoyed the yard. We hope to be back again!

A sweet little spot in a sweet little town!
We'd been planning a weekend getaway for some time with friends of ours. After searching through many properties halfway between both our families, we decided on Kristin's home. It was the perfect choice! The house was warm and cozy, very clean, fully supplied, convenient, with a beautiful location right on the river. We enjoyed lovely sunrises and warm afternoons on the deck; the beds were very comfortable; there was ample parking. Kristin was an excellent communicator and even sent us something we forgot! We enjoyed hikes, day trips, shopping, golf, and a lovely dinner out in Grafton. It was a memorable weekend and Kristin's home was the icing on the cake!

Peaceful lake views
This is indeed a 'cozy cottage,' with beautiful lake views from several rooms. The outdoor decks and furniture, plus the fire pit made it easy to enjoy the outdoors and quiet lake. At twilight the beavers swimming nearby entertained as night came on. A bonus for us was having a canoe at our disposal. Would definitely return!

Lakefront beauty
Access to the lake was wonderful. Despite the chill and mist in October, we had a lovely paddle one morning. Enjoyed an evening around the fire pit while looking at the fall colors reflected in the lake.

Cute House
The house was very cute and very clean. Host was very responsive with the few questions we had during our stay. The house is on a very busy street and there was alot of traffic noise. There is also a commercial business across the street that had equipment running all weekend and was burning things so we could smell smoke throughout the house.

I’m glad you liked the house. Yes we are located on route 100N and I try to make the pictures and description as accurate as possible for guests. We do have a local contractor who keeps him equipment across the street but we have never had any issues. Thank you for your feedback, we try our best to improve where we can.

Perfect Girls Weekend
The cozy cottage was the perfect place for our annual girls lake weekend. The house was clean and welcoming. We spent the entire weekend outside on the huge back porch, floating on tubes in the lake and roasting marshmallows on the fire. We explored Okemo and went to a local brewery that was about 10 min away. I hope to stay again with my family next year. Thank you!

Sweet home with great service
This was a very sweet spot to spend with our family, the owner was very responsive to any questions and we would stay here again. The only thing to note is it is on a busy road so sleeping at night may require a sound machine to help if you are a light sleeper.

Great house on the water
Very clean and spacious house on the lake. The multiple decks and outdoor seating areas were great. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was very cozy and nicely decorated. We took advantage of the kayaks and really enjoyed our stay. Very close to ludlow, less than 10 minutes to echo lake, and about 30 minutes to Woodstock. Would stay here again.

Relaxing Lakeside Cottage
Very nice clean cottage. House is cozy and exactly like the pictures! We had 5 adults, 1 kid and a dog. House was the perfect size for all of us! We enjoyed the Kayaks and the fire pit as well as grilling on the grill. Owner was great to communicate with and check in and checking out was a breeze. Vermont is a beautiful State to enjoy! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Only draw back is we didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful Lakeside Cottage
We enjoyed our time at the #cozycottage. We came to bask in the beautiful Vermont scenery and we were not disappointed! The deck overlooking the lake was amazing and our family ate many meals there to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed using the kayaks with our very own private dock. Going into town was easy and didn’t take long at all. The property owner was prompt with communications and very friendly. We would love to come back soon!!!

Relaxing Lakeside Vacation
The cottage was cozy and just as expected. We loved being right on the lake and having easy access to enjoy hiking and exploring southern Vermont as well as kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Our crazy doodle loved it too. The only slight negative would be that the property is on a busier road. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had, making it a very enjoyable stay.
