Sehr schönes Landhaus mit wunderschönem blühendem Garten und einem herrlichen langgestreckten Pool, bei dem das Schwimmen phantastisch ist. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die für uns immer erreichbar war. Auch unsere kleiner Chihahua hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und konnte ungestört toben.Gerne wieder!!!

A Great House in a Fantastic Location

We recently stayed in the villa for three nights in late-November. The house is large and accommodating with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces to easily accommodate a large family. The grounds are really lovely with a large lap pool and plenty of space to soak up the sun or just relax. The house is located very well with excellent access to Lucca, Pisa or the coast of Italy. The owner met us at the house when we checked in and he also provided lots of recommendations for local food, wine and sights to see. We really enjoyed this property and we look forward to returning.

Lovely villa with amazing surroundings close by

The villa is really lovely. Giacomo our host was extremely kind and helpful. Plenty of room for the 11 of us girls. You have to really have car as getting taxis as we did was a bit of a challenge. There are no supermarkets close by so a car is essential to buy supplies Some of the beds are a little uncomfortable but the rooms are lovely and very spacious Pisa is less than 20 mins and Lucca is very close too. The restaurant Stefani is a must. Thanks Villa Mari for an amazing holiday!

Excellent!!

The property is beautiful inside and out with an excellent pool area, the air conditioned gym was a great added extra! The location is perfect for access to both Pisa (15 mins) and Lucca (10 mins). Giacomo and his mum were brilliant hosts, any questions or requests we had were answered straight away. We will go back again, I don’t think you can beat this gem of a place to stay!

Dream villa in Tuscany

We were a group of 7 adults staying at this villa in Tuscany. Can't say enough good things: - The host was super responsive and understanding - The property itself was amazing, with the pool and backyard even better than the pictures listed. From the pool deck you can sit in the shade and enjoy the surrounding Tuscan hills - The internet connection was strong - we did not work from the property to test its video conference readiness but I think it would be fine - The surrounding area has some good food options within walking distance - A block or two away there is a bus you can take into either town (Pisa or Lucca) The only possible downside I would list is difficulty getting to the property without a car - but even then, we figured it out with the taxi service recommended by the host. (On that note - I can't imagine many remote Tuscany properties being easily accessible by train anyways.) Overall 5/5 stay and we would definitely stay again

Beautiful villa with fantastic outside space

Really beautiful property with a very communicative and helpful host. So close to the airport and Pisa and Lucca. Location is fab, and has two restaurants within walking distance of the villa as well.

Beautiful villa!

Loved the villa. Did trips to Pisa and Lucca. Ate at Stefani across the street which was amazing!! Make reservations though. We didnt use all of the bedrooms, had so much space for us! Grilled steaks one night, we bought meat from the local butcher and they were awesome!

Perfect location away from tourists!

If you are looking for a great place nestled away from tourist destinations annnnd with easy access to the market and quick driving distance to all things of interest... this is the place. Quick drive to Pisa, Vinci, even not far to buzz into Cinque Terre for a day. Very clean with more than ample amenities!

Superb property - such history !!

Beautiful property with a huge garden and great space for a large group ! Several restaurants within walking distance, butchers, patisserie and buses to Pisa and Lucca across the road. The road is quite busy and the buses aren’t quite as frequent as we’d have liked but the property was lovely, very tall ceilings, antique furniture , plenty of kitchen equipment and clean throughout. Issues were dealt with promptly and communication was excellent. Shame the weather wasn’t great but very unusual for Italy in May !!

Family Trip to Lucca

We had a family group of 7, with 3 of them being elderly in their early 80’s. The house was great and in a great location. There literally is a great little pizza shop right out the back gate, we got pizza from there twice and it was very good. This house is in a great location from Lucca and other sites to see, a very pretty area. The house itself is very nice, we found everything we needed. All the bedrooms are upstairs, which we ended leaving our luggage downstairs and only carrying up what we needed. There are a few quirky steps, but you just have to be aware of them….I was just a little concerned with our elderly people, but they navigated them fine. All in all a great place to stay.

Fantastica villa

Abbiamo soggiornato nella villa per Natale eravamo un gruppo di 12 persone ,ci siamo sentiti come a casa grazie alla splendida sorpresa di trovare la villa addobbata a festa dalla mamma di Giacomo. La casa è molto spaziosa ,la cucina e fornita di tutte le attrezzature. Giacomo è stato molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto trovare anche il panettone e il latte per la colazione. Torneremo sicuramente . Grazie a Giacomo, Elisa e la loro mamma

Lucca Gem!!

Our stay was perfect, great location for day trips to anywhere in Tuscany if you have a car. 20 minutes from downtown (inside the wall) of Lucca. Quiet and convenient. 1 minute walk from bust stop to downtown if you don't want to drive and very safe. Convenient and amazing Pizza shop literally outside the back gated entrance and their wood fired pizza was outstanding!! Host was accommodating and left us a very nice basket of started coffee and goodies including 2 qt's of milk. Would definitely stay here again, It was much larger than we needed but the price and serenity of the huge grounds was worth it.

Amazing stay at Villa Marì!

Our family of seven had a wonderful stay at the luxurious Villa Marì. We spent 10 wonderful days in this large and beautiful estate. With 6 air conditioned bedrooms, two kitchens, two dining rooms, two living rooms and 4 complete bathrooms, we had plenty of space. The large outdoor table was wonderful for our morning meals. Giacomo was a lovely host and he even gave us a brief history of the villa. It was ideally situated and we were able to visit all the places in Tuscany that we wished to see. We loved it!

Perfect Home Away From Home For Our Family Of 10!

The house had everything we needed in a perfect location for our family. The beds are so comfortable and it was such a treat to be able to cook in a well stocked kitchen after traveling for a few weeks and eating out. The yard and gardens are lovely. The family who owns this home is so kind and was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again if we are back in Lucca.

Lovely stay in Tuscany

This villa is perfectly located between Lucca and Pisa.The property is beautiful and the villa itself, historic and well-maintained. The ground floor has several areas to eat and lounge. The bathrooms are new and the bedrooms large. The furniture in the bedrooms is simple rather than luxurious but entirely comfortable. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive! Giaccomo gave us a long list of wonderful places to visit and eat. They were fantastic and made our stay that much more special. We will be back!

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Tuscan villa on our visit to Lucca to attend a wedding. It far exceeded our expectation. It is a lovely home which is recently renovated and restored. It has old charm and all the modern comforts. There is a chef's kitchen which is beautiful and fully stocked with cooking supplies. The bathrooms are also newly renovated. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. The attic bedroom was comfortable as well. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as much where there was plenty of room for the kids to run around the olive tree a and for us to sit and drink espresso looking at view over the hills. The house is located next to a pizza shop, near a restaurant (we did not try it), and a mini mart where we did our groceries. The hosts were so friendly and kind. They were very responsive when we had a minor issue in the house and fixed it immediately. We would love to return and stay for a week to just relax, forget sightseeing! Thank you for a lovely stay.
