"Wir haben 2 Wochen im Juni in Massimos Haus gewohnt. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingericht und auf einem Hügel etwa 8 Km von Lucca entfernt gelegen. Man schaut von der Terasse in die Ebene und auf Lucca. Wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist man hier genau richtig. Massimo ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, der sich sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir werden sicherlich noch einmal hierhin zurück kehren."

"The house was just what we were looking for, an oasis of tranquility. It is as it appears in the photos. Beautiful views and perfectly equipped house. Our dog was happy among the olive trees. Highlight how absolutely clean the house was. We did many excursions, we spent time in Luca all within short distance of the house. With car everything is at hand. Massimo very friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!"

"I can't speak highly enough about our stay in this special villa. Our host, Giovanni (and his brother), was so helpful every step of the way with suggestions and information. We took a mountain village tour with Giovanni and that was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy. "Lorenzo our host generously provided a list of local eateries and directions to the nearest shops for basics.The property itself was clean, well-equipped and in a great location from which to stroll round the streets of Lucca or explore further afield.The sound from the music school which is adjacent to the flat takes a bit of getting used to, but not unpleasant.The flat is attractive, welcoming, if a bit dark inside, but the wee outdoor space is a bonus. Would recommend."

"I just spent a couple of nights in this gorgeous villa, just 5 min drive from Lucca Old Town! The place feels homey, very comfy beds and everything you need and more than that! Gardens are well kept and everything has got the new and taken care of taste! Carmine, the host, organised for me pick up from Pisa Airport, only 25 min away! "My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

"The apartment is a short walk (7 minutes) from Lucca train station, and the description is accurate - apart from there being no separate terrace accessible from the kitchen. The courtyard garden is nice to have for eating outside etc. The apartment did seem a little dark, but that's the nature of the building. Our host was very helpful, and a few minor issues found upon arrival were rectified on the same day.One suggestion is to provide some tea-bags / coffee for guests."

"Lucca was better than expected! It's like the whole town lives in a story book! Both the city and the apartment are really great and have tons of character. We would stay here again. Also, the host responds very quickly.My only complaint is that the king mattress needs to be replaced (probably like 10 years ago). "
