"Very pretty and had all we needed for self catering. Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent. "A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep)."

"This is a gorgeous little property. We met Diane as we arrived, she was so lovely and accommodating (nice little touch was the biscuits and doggy treats. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable, the kitchen/living area was small but well equipped (no cooking on holiday!). We will certainly go back to The Bothy next time we are in the area."

"We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing with a lovely garden and amazing views out the back. It's in a beautiful location with easy access to explore the dales. There are many great restaurants and pubs relatively close by. Phillip was a great host, very responsive and helpful with all inquiries. would highly recommend."

"The Potter's House was very charming with nice original features; the bedroom was good and comfortable; the bathroom worked well though was two floors down, so interesting in the middle of the night! It sleeps 4, but we found it pretty cosy for 2. Kitchen well equipped. Fab welcome basket of bread, milk, cookies and a nice bottle of fizz. Parking was okay once we figured out where the long stay lot is - but there is free 2 hour parking in the market just across the road. So very convenient...
