The hosts went over and above to make us feel welcome. The unit is so charming and the setting is gorgeous. The listing noted that it was convenient to the end of the Rose Parade, which was our reason for booking. It was an easy walk to the parade and to the Float Fest location.

Husband and daughter stayed four days. They honestly paid compliments day and night about this absolutely beautiful place. Lovely South of France accent’s every where, down to croissants and homemade preserves and freshly ground coffee! Luscious peaceful gardens and patio enjoyed coffee in mornings. Malabar even paid a visit which tummy rubs were cheerfully given. Beds were so comfortable. All communication was excellent. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again.To amazing hosts: à votre santé

Perfect place for a couple. Beautiful gardens and views, very safe, and clean. Well located within minutes of Pasadena. I highly recommend this VRBO studio to anyone needing only one bedroom in Pasadena.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The rental was in a beautiful, idyllic garden that won over our hearts from the very beginning. The stay was comfortable and the croissants we were gifted upon arrival were delicious! Smoke-free facility so that was a huge plus! Oh and the adorable basset hound, Malabar (sp?) was an absolute delight! Wonderful hosts in a wonderful city!

The guesthouse apartment was cozy and included all we needed for a comfortable stay. The mature trees and garden setting were most welcome and lovely when lit up at night. And we very much appreciated the French pastries, homemade preserves, and coffee each day...thank you Ailin and Herve!

Wonderful gem in Pasadena

I really enjoyed staying in this apartment above the garage in L'Orangerie, a restored old home in Pasadena. The hosts provided croissants, a fridge, and everything I needed for a wonderful stay.

Lovely stay, great communication

I had a very easy and lovely stay in this beautiful place! The setting is gorgeous--lots of beautiful trees and flowers. I especially loved hearing the birds sing every morning. There were lots of great amenities, like French pastries (!!) and an adorable sundeck. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier. I had everything I needed and then some. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!

An Oasis in LA

A wonderful stay! The apartment was like stepping into a tranquil oasis just outside of the bustle of the greater Los Angeles area. Definitely recommend make some time to spend relaxing in the gardens, too.

Welcome Oasis during Record-Breaking Heat

From the first in-person welcome, to the garden surroundings with the playful canine, settling in during 100 degree heat was effortless. The waiting breakfast pastries and homemade jams(confitures) were a singular treat. Just regret that the 100+ degree temps limited time spent on the rental's patio with the mountain views!

Return to Pasaden

Used to live in Pasadena about 5 minutes form the VRBO. It was enjoyable being back in the area. The accommodation on Orange Grove was grand. Jus twhat my wife and I expected and needed for our 5 night stay. Recommend the dwelling for couples. Thanks, Greg Nice

The apartment is the perfect place to stay. It is cozy and comfortable. The deck with the view of the mountains is lovely & peaceful. It was nice to make dinner when I wanted and have room to have a few guests over for dinner.

Cozy little place in Pasadena

Very nice garage apartment with a European touch on a really nice Spanish Mission style residential property. Very local feel and in a quiet safe neighborhood. Complete with balcony w/ mountain View, wifi, tv, kitchenette, fold out couch and nice queen sized bedroom. Came with a bowl of welcome pastries and a platter full of homemade fruit jams in the fridge. Barely saw or heard our hosts. But they were very responsive when we had a question.

phenomenal spot!

I was in town for work and this was the perfect space for me! It was extremely comfortable and my only regret is that I didn't have a chance to use the back patio more since I was out all day. the leave what you don't use policy for the kitchen is amazing, because it meant that I had spices to use and oatmeal for breakfast. the pastries that were there to welcome me on arrival were also phenomenal! The only complaint I have is that Malabar didn't hang out with me enough! She's perfect!
