Our usual VRBO in Culver City (also on Huron) upped its rates, so we opted for this little back house (called an ADU, or accessory dwelling unit, in L.A.). It was cozy, quiet and comfortable. Well-stocked with ample bedding and enough kitchenware to make coffee and have a light breakfast (though, maybe, not a full five-course dinner for five). Coffee maker and filters make enough coffee for two mugsfull. Bedroom was compact with a comfortable if a bit spongy queen bed and lots of storage space (closets and drawers). Bathroom was similarly useful with a shower and lots of hot water, plenty of towels. (No towel bars, though; just hooks, as in Europe). Best thing was the dedicated off-street parking, meaning we didn't have to prowl for a space or move our vehicle on trash day. The nice lady who occupies the adjacent tiny dwelling unit waved hello, but her front door opens just outside the bedroom window, so we kept the drapes closed lol. We stayed during the winter; the wall heater kept the living room nice and toasty. The location can't be beat; close to Culver City's downtown attractions and to the 405 freeway to access anything. It's also about a 40 minute drive to Hollywood or the South Bay if that's where you'd like to go. We'll very likely want to stay again when we're back in town.
