We’ve just returned home from a fabulous two week stay at this property. It is very clean and comfortable. It is also very well supplied with plenty of towels, bathroom and facial tissue and other necessities that many properties skimp on. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen is well equipped for anyone who would like to do so. The location is great, on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood, yet easily accessible to many restaurants, sites and amenities. To top it all off, Ree is an amazing host who is very responsive to any questions and does all that she can to make you feel welcome and make your stay a memorable one.

The house was just as nice, if not better than all the photos and descriptions. The beds were comfortable with great linens and covers. The kitchen was great with EVERYTHING you need for cooking and cleaning. I have never stayed at another place with so many needs being met, from coffee to dishwasher soap. We were there at the middle of October, with rain and cold weather, so we could not enjoy the great pool. The beautiful gardens were between season, but you could see the thought and planning that went into every area. The neighborhood is very beautiful and safe area and is great for morning walks. The location is perfect for any activity you might have in any part of the area, from downtown LA to the coast. It is central to all the entertainment venues in Burbank Universal City and Hollywood. Ree, the host, was readily available, and quickly responded to any small issues or questions that came up. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting the area.

This was our second time staying in this home, and if and when we return to Los Angeles, we would be happy to stay here again. The house is spacious, the den is cozy, the backyard in spacious and beautiful - with a garden that attracts butterflies and birds. The neighborhood is mostly quiet (especially at night) and their is on site and on street parking. There is no dining room, but there is a small table in the den and the backyard is great for this during most of the year. The bedrooms are super comfortable and the pool is just a great addition (yes, we used it!).

Loved every minute of our stay, was a lovely property to come back to after a long day at the theme parks and sightseeing, was a home away from home. The host was very hospitable and welcoming, explained everything we needed to know and was contactable straight away if any problems arose.

Our host, Ree was lovely, communicative and very accommodating. Her vrbo house is very well updated, spacious and beautiful. The pool is well maintained and is surrounded by Ree's beautiful well maintained gardens. Loved sitting outside on Ree's shaded patio or near the pool. Very private setting!Lovely kitchen. We cooked most nights since the kitchen had every utensil and appliance that you could think of, to help create most meals that you'd cook at home. We loved staying at Ree's vrbo and can't wait to come back to LA and stay there again.Thanks Ree!!

This was a beautiful home on a lovely quiet street. Fantastic big pool and wonderful gardens where hummingbirds frequently visited. Inside was really well-equipped with everything needed for an easy, relaxing stay. A good supermarket and a couple of fast food places within walking distance and close to other restaurants and tourist sites by car. Great WiFi and outdoor furniture with pretty lighting. We had a lovely meal of garlic bread and filet mignon at The Smoke House in Burbank, where part of La La Land was filmed - they had a great offer on their website. And finally a special mention for the host Dee and her friend Helen. Helen was there to greet us and give us useful information about our stay, and both she and Dee could not have been more accommodating and helpful. This was the best home we have stayed at and we would love to return.

If your adult children insist on living in LA, this is the place to stay when you visit!

This house has the feel of a family cottage--mix and match furniture from other houses and times comfortably arranged for functionality without fussiness. The appliances are all top of the line as is the bedding. The living room has been converted into an office which provides privacy and separation for the one party pooper who has to work on your vacation!My adult daughter and I stayed at the property, but my son, daughter-in-law and infant granddaughter came for the afternoon and evening every day and we were all very comfortable.The real star of this property is the yard. It has covered and uncovered seating and dining areas, a barbeque, a beautiful pool (very cold) and a gorgeous garden that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.Ree meets you when you arrive and shows you the property as well as providing a thoughtful guidebook for the property and the neighborhood. One grocery is in walking distance and several larger ones deliver through DoorDash.

Oasis in the City

This property is so lovely! The backyard was an oasis for us! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful flower garden and the pool. The neighborhood is wonderful, very walkable and it's so easy to get to Universal, the zoo, Burbank, Studio City, etc.The property manager was great to work with and very responsive. The house is very well stocked and roomy!

Cozy and restful getaway in Valley Village

This is a cozy house in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It had everything we needed for a restful, restorative stay . The gardens and pool are lovely . We enjoyed meeting the owner who was always helpful and pleasant. Certainly would love to return!

Fun, comfortable house with a great location

We had a lovely, comfortable stay. The pool and the outside gardens were delightful. The house (beds, bathrooms, shower, back yard, parking, living room) is comfortable. It was a bit difficult for us to keep the kitchen clean (we cook a lot) and there is no dining room per se, but otherwise the kitchen was functional and we could eat in the lovely back yard. The location in the east San Fernando Valley is excellent, with easy access to downtown, Hollywood, the Santa Monica mountains, and the Valley. Checking in and out were easy, and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

Excellent Home away from home stay..

No funny surprises here, just as described. Everything was excellent. Pool and yard were beautiful a real sun trap, we enjoyed lots of time relaxing in the pool! We used the barbecue on several occasion’s. Ree’s home has a warm welcoming feeling, lovely linens, and everything you need for your stay. The house is situated on quiet culdesac, and with 10 minute drive from Ventura Blv where you’ll find a huge selection of excellent restaurants! But many great take outs 5 minutes away on Laura Canyon. Universal is 10 minute drive away, for a fun day out. Other great LA stops are between 20/30 minutes away. We have holidayed in LA for past 8 years, in many houses, I would certainly highly recommend Ree’s house, and we will be back.

Great Stay, Great Location, Great Host

We had a fantastic two-week stay in Valley Village at Ree's property. The house is in immaculate condition and the pool was a luxurious feature after so many hot work days. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to North Hollywood and Studio City. Our pup had a wonderful stay as well. Ree was beyond officiant and responded within minutes with any questions. One of the best hosts we've encountered. Would love to stay again!

Relaxing Family Vacation

We choose this property because it was near my kids and it surpassed our expectations. It’s immaculate, totally stocked, so comfortable yet charming. Ree was the perfect host. She’s available for any concerns yet totally respects your privacy. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable with clean linens, a beautiful salt water pool, gorgeous landscaping, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful showers and a washer and dryer (nicer than my own lol) right in the unit. We will definitely try to come back next year and this will always be our first choice of where to stay when we visit our son and his family. Thank you Ree for a wonderful and unforgettable stay!

Fantastic LA visit experience

We absolutely loved Ree and her house. Ree was very nice and showed us the ropes of the place when we got in. She was so gracious to allow our golden retriever to join us and swim in her wonderful pool. She wqs always available to answer questions immediately and address any issues, which we did not have. Our house was very comfortable to live in for 3 weeks and work from home. We loved her pool and swam laps every day. The house was in a very central location that allowed us to go into the office in santa monica and explore all hollywood had to offer as well as malibu and even orange county. We loved having grocery stores walking distance. It was absolutely the best trip we could have hoped for and will definitely return when in LA again.

We'd move in if we could

This was a dream place to stay for our two weeks in LA. A few days in, the kids declared that they would not be going home and we would have to move into Ree's house forever. The location was perfect: a quite leafy street in a convenient neighbourhood, easy to get around in our rental car. The kitchen has most of what you would need to cook at home if you decide not to make the most of the multitude of wonderful restaurant options in LA. We mostly sat around drinking frosé in the backyard while the kids played in the pool, getting distracted by adorable hummingbirds.

Even better than expected!

Loved every moment spent at this California home. It’s bigger than it looks in the photos, the garden is lovely, the pool is brilliant, large and wonderfully filtered. Most importantly the area is lovely, safe and in a quiet cul-de-sac. Ree is the ultimate host and readily available to help or advise with anything. It suited our family of four, which includes two teenagers ideally and is located within 10-20 mins of Universal, Warner Bros, Beverley Hills, Rodeo Drive etc. 30 mins is Six Flags and 45 the beach at Santa Monica. Disney and Knotts Berry are 45-60 mins away. Plenty of places nearby to shop, eat and take in all that sunshine and California vibe. We absolutely loved it and will return as soon as we can.
