The house itself is probably a 3.5 or 4/5. The beds were comfortable, it was nice having a private space to ourselves, and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs. The gym was very nice (5/5!). Some things that could be improved would be put some curtains in the kitchen windows for some privacy, add some decor for character, and repaint or clean the walls/baseboards (they are dirty). Cleanliness would have to get a 3/5. The floors were sticky and not mopped. We cleaned them ourselves. The shower was a little mildewy and I felt dirty standing on the tiles. The hot tub was also not prepared. It hadn’t been cleaned, the water wasn’t treated, and the water level was too low. They did fix this for us while we were there. Communication with the hosting company gets a 2/5. Every message you send receives a “we’ll get back to you after we talk to our team” type response, and the real response follows hours later. This was a pain when trying to coordinate the hot tub cleaning, and finding the mop to clean the floors. The phone number provided is actually an emergency number so this didn’t help with getting in touch with a host. Being that it’s run by a company, it felt disorganized and we didn’t have one clear point of contact. Messages also came in from a different app service it seems, because the formatting was awful and you have to scroll pretty far sometimes to get to the response.
