What a fantastic spot! Walking out directly to the beach was amazing. Host (Frank) was extremely responsive and helpful. Easy walk to several local restaurants as well. We can’t wait to go back.

Frank is an amazing host. We had a couple of issues and he responded very quickly to help us. There is a boardwalk that you are able to walk along the beach. No one came up to the house from the beach and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. Hope to go back again next year. But will fly into LAX vs Burbank. Yes, you hear planes, but not in house at night. It was so relaxing. Thank you Frank!

Beautiful home in an amazing location!

Absolutely loved our stay at the beach house. Loved waking up with a view of the ocean. Great location within a short distance of many site seeing locations. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay near LA. Thanks Frank!!

We had a wonderful extended weekend at the beautiful LAX Beachhouse. We fully appreciated the indoor outdoor spaces, we walked to a few of the local restaurants and our teen girls enjoyed playing volleyball, boogie boarding and laying on the sun Frank is an incredible host! We look forward to our next stay at the beach house in the near future.

Best Place in LA!

We loved, loved, loved our stay! I can’t say enough about how great this home and lo CSS action are! Right on the beach with fantastic views and walkable to local restraints and coffee shops! Our host was more than accommodating and so responsive, we loved working with him. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat, you won’t regret choosing this place for your LA stay!

Great location!

The place was clean and the host was fantastic. We stayed at the beach house for the first part of our SoCal vacation. It is central to many tourist spots and the walk out beach access was top notch.

Fantastic

My family absolutely loved the house. The location is great and the sunsets were spectacular. The master patio had amazing views and being on the ocean was wonderful. The house has a nice open layout and great vibe. We will be back in a few weeks. There are even a few walkable restaurants.

Spotlessly clean, amazing location

Frank accommodated us with a couple of special requests, and was extremely communicative through the whole process of booking and during our stay. The home was nicely appointed, has a beautiful retro look, and they don't use the chemical air fresheners to try to make it smell clean, because it IS clean. Everything in the listing is accurate, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Mixed Feelings

The good: The house is right on the beach. The beach is a quieter area without too many crowds. The volleyball nets are wonderful. Frank is very communicative. The house was very clean. The garage is spacious enough for a midsize SUV. The house is air-conditioned, which is a benefit at night. FYIs for future guests… this house is very close to LAX (fully disclosed in the listing). The listing and the reviews do not mention how loud the airport noise is. You can hear planes taking off while inside the house with all the windows closed and the air conditioner running. Being an international airport, flights takeoff all night long. The queen bed bedroom is on the ground floor, children might be nervous to be alone downstairs. The bad… The neighbors are doing construction, and the worker set up his power tools on the patio by the ocean. A circular saw woke the whole house up at 7 AM. The neighboring owner is disrespectful. He blocked me in the garage and gave me attitude about moving his car until he realized I was a guest. The house is showing its age. Windows are dirty or cracked. The sliding doors are weathered and very difficult to use especially for children. The railing are rusted. Floors, cabinets, walls, and paint are peeling or damaged. It doesn’t feel like the luxury experience the listing describes. I thought about this review for a while since I seem to be in the minority, but hope these thoughts are helpful for other guests.

Absolutely Impressed

The LAX Beach House was the perfect place to stay for our vacation to LA. The listing was very accurate—beach access from the back patio, better than expected parking situation, and a truly fantastic home with an exceptional host who answered all our questions prior to arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was clean, had ample room, and the location is amazing. We will be staying here the next time we are in the area.

Graduation celebration!

Our family gathered from near and far to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation from Cal State Long Beach! We were looking for a place to enjoy much-needed family time throughout the weekend while celebrating and this beach house was perfect! We wish we had been able to stay for longer, but we will certainly be back ☺️

Coming Back!

The family and I had such a great time staying at the house. It was such a quiet and secluded part of the beach so it felt like it was all yours to enjoy. 10/10 recommend staying and will be coming back for sure.

As advertised

This is a nice quiet beach that lies between LAX and Marina del Rey. The home is directly on the beach and provides all the advantages for which one would hope. The sliding glass doors open the house to the beach. The upstairs deck is a lovely place for coffee. The entire home is functional and clean. Unlike Malibu, there is a lot of nearby parking. This was our first VRBO and we were worried the reality would not match the advertisements. We were pleasantly surprised and now the family is clamoring for a return visit in 2024. :-)
