We stayed 6 nights at this ideally located home. It's just 1.5 blocks from Hollywood Blvd with a CVS & Target (w/ Starbucks) right there on the corner. And all the Hollywood Blvd tourist attractions (i.e. Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, etc) are a short walk away. At night you do need to be careful walking alone due to the large nbr of homeless people, but during the daylight hrs it's totally fine!Despite all the LA traffic, we did manage to go to Burbank, Universal City, Valencia (Six Flags), Beverly Hills, Griffith Observatory and Venice Beach/Santa Monica without much of an issue; seems we were usually driving against the traffic.Laurie & Kaitlyn's home worked just fine for my husband and I and 3 young adult children; the 2.5 baths was definitely ideal! The beds were comfortable. The place was for the most part clean; however, it could probably use a deep cleaning b/c I did see some cobwebs and the exhaust fan in the master bath was very dirty and could be an issue for someone with severe allergies. There are a few repairs that should be made and I brought them to the owners' attention, and Laurie & Kaitlyn were very responsive to answering any questions we had. They even recommended looking into a Day Pass at a local resort if we didn't want to do anymore sight seeing, and we enjoyed a relaxing pool day at Hilton Universal City (thank you for the suggestion!). Lastly the parking spot(s) behind a gated area was very roomy for our large mini-van - thank goodness!
