  • "You have to experience this home in person to truly understand how wonderful it is. The property is huge with lots of outside seating areas to enjoy the gorgeous grounds. The grounds are meticulously maintained with beautiful flowers and fruit trees everywhere you look. The pool area is stunning with a large, deep pool. Inside, the home is spotless and wonderfully old but with all of the modern amenities you need. Lots of toys for kids to play with. Disneyland is a 25 minute drive away. Lots of good beaches. Luisa is welcoming, warm, responsive and helpful. This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed and I hope to return one day."
    This was one of our reviews for our Gorgeous California Spanish style Villa located only 18 miles from downtown LA, airport, beach, Disneyland, breathtaking designed garden, fountain, playground, pool . mountains & any attraction. A truly unique architectural gem with the comfort of today life style surrounded by a Air conditioner & new appliances. A perfect place to feel like in your own resort, relax, create great memories, play the piano, take great pictures & spend a memorable vacations as a couple, with friends or family.
    The pool in not heated, only the jacuzzi.
    The pool heater is $100/day for the duration of the trip, minimum 3 days, please keep in mind the it takes a least 1 day to get the water warm.

Very welcoming home. It was super spacious. We had 2 couples, a preteen and a college girl. It allowed for everyone to have their space and things to do. The hot tub was nice and allowed for us to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing. Starbucks and a few other staples for quick food are a short 5 min drive which was great.

Girls trip

What a beautiful home /garden vacation home this was for myself and 4 girl friends we traveled from Texas and had a great time catching up for 3 days we tanned , relaxed, we were able to see Santa Monica one day and Los Angeles the next bc everything was about 30 mins away . Place was clean freshly cut I have no complaints and will recommend this vacation home to friends and family in the future

Beautiful Spanish villa

We loved this place. So many quirky things here and all the facilities you could wish for. Luisa was very helpful if we had any questions. It was in a perfect location for us and one day we would love to come back

Exceeded Expectations

Nice family getaway

The house is beautiful and well stocked. I stayed for Mother's day and my family and I enjoyed the beautiful gardens with several types of trees and flowers. The swimming pool and hot tub were awesome but the stone steps around the pool become very slick so please exercise caution. Overall we enjoyed a lovely family vacation nestled away in our own private space.

Wonderful!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Host was very responsive and attentive, making sure our needs were met. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids, and with all of the lights on in the evening, the yard looked absolutely magical! Thanks for a great stay!!

Fabulous getaway spot

We’ve stayed at the property twice now. It’s a great spot to hang out and catch up with friends. The pool & hot tub are very relaxing & refreshing. The grounds are in excellent condition. We love that we can park our (3-4) cars in the driveway. We look forward to our next trip.

Off to the Races

Beautiful property, we were in LA to attend the Breeders Cup Races.and stayed 3 nights and 4 days. The spanish villa is truly hidden away right there in Whitter! So much to love about the house, the outside grounds, the pool, the hot tub and the secluded area. Luisa helped answer all our questions, after 4 days we felt so comfortable, didn't want to leave. When we're back in Los Angelas we will definitely be back.

Comfortable house and garden plus pool in LA region

Convenient and quiet location (dead-end road), large and well-maintained garden and pool. Very spacious house, generously furnished. Kitchen outfit partly needs stocking up and/or replacements. Easy contact to and immediate reply by friendly host if needed. All in all, a real nice and comfortable place for a relaxing stay in the LA region. Highly recommended!

Best LA rental ever

We stayed at this house with some friends for a long weekend. We were all seniors ( 60-90). The house was big and rambling. There were so many interesting things to see in the home. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor area was huge and private. Great house and good central location.

Family Vaca in CA

Our stay was just perfect. The property is close to area attractions while being far enough away to relax while there. The property owner was very quick to reply to any questions asked. Upon arrival after a very long day of travel it was nice to have a welcome bottle of wine as well as a few items to start our trip off before getting a chance to get to the grocery store. Would highly recommend the property and owner to all asking. Will definitely reach out again if we come back to the west coast for vacationing.

Wonderful little house!

Our family of all ages spent a week at this beautiful home and enjoyed every minute of it! The outside is definitely a private little oasis. Pool, hot tub and fruit trees were a real hit! Inside was bigger than expected with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Neighbors dog barked quite a bit, but this is expected in any city! 5 stars!

A fantastic property in a great location!

The property is spectacular, with plenty of room for everyone. The house itself is very well equipped and there were even some basic ingredients left in the kitchen - meaning we just had to cover the food basis a for the first couple of days. Luisa is a great host, with fabulous communication and was very helpful with our additional requests and questions. Our party included teenagers, who were particularly happy with the high speed internet and Smart TV’s in all the bedrooms! We would highly recommend this property for an ideal base to explore LA and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful pool and jacuzzi in an old Spanish-style mansion

Very large and quirky older house which is kept very clean. I'm from New England and the place reminds me of those big old vacation homes you might rent for a week on Cape Cod or in Maine. There is a history here and if you like that in a vacation home, this is for you. We stayed during historic cold temperatures in the LA area, and the house was very comfortable. Also note that the house will be very difficult for anyone in a wheelchair or a walker as there are many small steps.
