Unfortunately there were a few issues with the property people should be aware of given the higher price to rent. 1) the oven is broken. Their replacement was a toaster oven, which isn’t suitable for cooking for a family of 4. This was not disclosed. There also aren’t many plates and utensils so bring your own if you’re going to eat a couple of meals here. 2) it’s located on PCH near the fire cleanup (also not disclosed) so there’s significant construction happening all day AND all night. Because the windows are paper thin we weren’t able to sleep in the bedrooms due to construction that was ongoing from 8pm -3am each day. 3) parking that’s available is also on PCH, which is fine but not ideal. The rental company gave us 200 bucks back for the noise but for the high cost you pay to rent here, others should be aware and rent with caution as I’d expect construction to continue a few more months. The view was pretty!

Rental was clean and clutter free and the pictures are very accurate. The only issues are the sliding doors are difficult to open and some we couldn’t get open as the door tracks need some maintenance. The bedrooms tend to be noisy from traffic noise as the highway is close to the home. The ocean view was very nice as you can see sunrise and sunset. Overall a nice place to stay

This place was amazing! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary we arrived after sundown and thought it was gorgeous but the next morning waking up to the view was breathtaking almost hard to leave - like being in heaven. The place was clean, great location in Malibu ocean front and communication with the staff was simple easy and quick. Highly recommend this unit - I hope you return next year! Sara

The property itself was great - really beautiful stay and view. The towels were not cleaned however: one had hair on it from someone shaving and the other one had an orange substance which we are not sure what it was.

Our stay was BEAUTIFUL. The views are gorgeous and we fell asleep and woke up to ocean sounds daily. The place was clean and comfortable and it was nice to be able to have a bathroom per bedroom. A couple things to add: it’d be nice to have been able to open just a screen door to the balcony instead of all or nothing. We loved the breeze but didn’t want seagulls or bugs flying in. Also, while we knew we wouldn’t have direct access to a beach from the stay, we were hoping to walk to nearby entrances as Google maps hinted was possible, but that was not an option due to storm damage and construction, which was a bummer. Overall though, we had an amazing time and loved hanging out on the balcony with the waves!

SUch a beautiful view greet you as you walk in - all you see and hear is ocean. Very comfortable - you have many places to sit and relax. Lots of room and a great kitchen area. It's easy to be relaxed when all you hear is the ocean. I loved that the bedroom as AC, because it got a little hot in the summer but it was very comfortable to sleep. The hosts answered any questions and requests quickly, which was appreciated.

Beautiful view

Nice location and layout. But the condition of the property was less than ideal. There was a lot of water damage and in one bathroom it looked like there was mold in a corner. Being right on the water this is somewhat understandable but the photos make it look like it’s in pristine condition.

Great stay. Minor Issues

Overall the house and location are amazing and the hosts available and communicative. Two FYIs First, the listing address vs the unit address. This is essentially an attached unit and there a two listing here that apparently share the same listing address. We showed up to the listing address which happened to be the unit next door...with another renter. We had not noticed that the check-in instructions gave a different address. Minor but if I missed it, so might the next person. Second, the unit is pet friendly and with that you can expect some evidence. We are dog lovers, brought our own non-shedding dog, but are actually allergic so sensitive. This time the home was not up to par but hopefully will be in the future.

Heavenly sanctuary

The locale and view from this property is an absolute dream and exactly what we booked it for. It was so beautiful I wished we could stay longer. The only little thing that could have made it even better if it was heated at night time as we found it chilly at night but other than that an absolute dream thank you 🙏

Beautiful beach front property great for family and pups!

We had a wonderful stay here with my husband and parents and 2 pups. The place was beautiful and felt like you were on a ship it was so far over the water. We were able to take our pups to the beach every day as there a small public access beach just a 5 minutes walk down the road. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Host was extremely accommodating. Thank you again for everything!
