After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line "

" We stayed for a night. Excellent support from James. In a quiet area and nice and clean room with comfortable bedding. Bathroom a bit small but clean and had all facilities. John Lewis tower fan was so essential for the night as it was hot. Ty James. "

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"We booked about a year in advance as we wanted to be in the area for our son’s wedding the next day. We paid top price but didn’t get a top hotel! Our bath panel had been severely damaged by water and whilst the aircon cooling worked well it was like having a tractor in the room! Service in the restaurant was good however our main courses were really poor. We had a tough as old boots sirloin steak and I had the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in a restaurant. "The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. Highly recommended."

"Very clean room and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Shower is a bit of a dribble and you need to bring your own soap or shower gel. No breakfast but there's options just around the corner. A great pub with lots of beers on offer from their own brewery. I'd happily go back."
