I tried getting assistance from vacasa to cancel or pay a fee to cancel but I was ignored until Saturday morning when a flood of “we’re sorry” flooding "

"Staying in Ocean Beach was something we've wanted to do for a long time. It's close to Jack's Store, (one of our favorite destinations over the past few years,) and close to Oysterville. The cottage was nice and clean, and the electric fireplace did OK at heating the place. We slept comfortably, and enjoyed some good meals. The kitchen has only an electric toaster/oven, but the cooktop covered us well in prepping our light meals. It's a nice, quiet location, but close to beach, shopping, and...

"Enjoyed our stay at the cottage with the backyard garden when there was sunshine and the cozy couch when it rained. The kitchen was well stocked with great seasonings if planning to cook. Overall, the place worked well for our weekend at the beach. I will note that the cottage was only surface level clean. Could definitely use a deep clean for an extra star or two. "
