The condo itself had several positives. It was located in a great part of town with easy access to shops and restaurants, and the neighborhood felt safe. The unit was clean, well stocked, and spacious enough to comfortably house several adults. Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly impacted by several issues. While the neighborhood was great, the actual unit is located in an alley directly behind a hotel. This hotel uses the alley for deliveries resulting in frequent and loud truck loading and unloading early in the morning directly below the windows. We also experienced major utility problems during our stay. There were plumbing issues and the power in the unit was out for roughly half of our trip. While we were notified of the outage, we were not informed if it was resolved requiring us to interact with the electrician ourselves. Because of the outage, our laundry was stuck in the washing machine and inaccessible to us for the remainder of the trip. We were also unable to use basic amenities like hair dryers and had to ask nearby hotels for help. Communication from the host was inconsistent- responses were timely but not particularly helpful or friendly given the severity of the situation. Ultimately, compensation was offered (200) but felt inadequate considering the length of the outage and the luxury price point.The unit has potential due to its size, cleanliness and area but future guests should be aware of the alley and way problems were handled.
