The apartment had everything we could possibly need. It was comfortable and clean. It was so nice to have two bathrooms for our 3 generation family stay. Nice to have a grocery store close by. There was a cafe and pub although we didn’t use them. Cannon Town tube station was close by and had lifts for those less able.

Andrew is a great host. He met us at the door and gave us a tour of all of the amenities just to make sure we would be comfortable. Overall, the flat itself was super comfortable for 6 people. However, there were some spots of dirt on the walls and such that seemed like they coud have been cleaned. And the furmiture wasn't the most comfortable. My husband slept on the couch because the bed sloped and he rolled out of it. I made Andrew aware of the problem and he was willing to come out that day to see and fix the problem.The other tricky part was how you were supposed to leave the island. There were a lot of stairs (and luckily, elevators). And yet, the location made it so super easy to get to the Tube, the DLR, or bus station. We had a great time exploring London and we were always happy to come back to this flat.

The apartment was lovely and exactly as described. Very spacious and open, everything you need is provided for up to 8 guests. The neighbourhood is nice, very safe and quiet, lovely to return to and relax after the hustle and bustle of sightseeing in London. Quick and easy access into all the main areas and attractions from the very convenient tube station next to the apartment.Andrew is an excellent Host, he met us for check in and explained how everything worked along with info about the nearby restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Excellent communication and quick responses to any queries both before and during our stay.Would definitely stay here again when visiting London and recommend to anyone thinking about it..

Fun London Adventure

Very nice host and flat. We had issues with the hot water which the host is working on and this was in Island City and not Canary Wharf like we thought. But we did have a great time and really did like the flat and had fun. Thank you for letting us stay!

Wonderful property just a few stops away from Central London. Nice to come back to a cozy apartment away from the business of London, yet close enough to enjoy all the sites and attractions that you want to see. Our host Andrew was amazing, available and helpful with any questions that we had. Highly recommend for families or couples travelling together.

Wonderful flat East of London City Center

The flat is on London City Island, which is a 30-40 minute taxi ride from London City Center and Westminster. If the Tube will be your primary transportation and you do not have mobility issues, then the location is great because there is direct access to the Tube via a short walking bridge and lift to the Canning Town tube station. There is also a Sainsbury’s local grocery store right downstairs that was perfect for us to buy food to make breakfast and dinner at home if needed. Our only complaint was that the washer/dryer combo did not work well. I even downloaded the operating instructions, followed the instructions, and could never get a basic program to wash and dry super small loads (1 t shirt and 2-3 pairs of underwear) during a 3 hour cycle. It always took 2 cycles. Quite frustrating. Andrew was very responsive to our questions and check in was a breeze because of his help.

Family Time Over Christmas/New Year's Holidays

Our family of six included grandparents, parents and two children, with an age range from 10-75. . The three bedroom, two bath and complete kitchen provided a perfect accommodation for our family. This flat was in the relatively new London City island development and has easy access to the Canning Town Station serviced by both the Jubilee underground and the DLR. A Sainsbury grocer and a Le Barre coffee shop are a short walk from the flat. Our flat did not include a coffee maker, only a kettle, so the coffee shops received many visits during our stay. There is a restaurant on site which we did not visit. I had worked in the London Bridge area for a number of years and many dining options are close by via the Jubilee tube. This riverside unit offered great views of London and was especially convenient for watching the New Year's fireworks. The property manager Andrew was an excellent communicator and very responsive to questions prior to our arrival.

Fabulous!

We had a fantastic two night stay at this apartment which is in a great location with easy access to DLR & Jubilee lines. Great views over Canary Wharf - particularly when lit up at night and also the river. The apartment is light, airy and perfectly equipped. We were a group of 6 but it easily accommodates 8 with the use of the sofa bed. The host - Andrew, could not have been more accommodating or helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay for a family or group of friends and intend to return.

The flat is exactly as described and was a perfect location for our trip. We loved the deck and the fact that the grocery was right downstairs. Very close to the underground and we were able to visit all the major sites in the one day we spent in London. Thank you, Andrew!

Lovely and clean flat in a good location.

We enjoyed our stay at this flat. It is right at an Underground station, and has a coffee shop and small grocery in the complex. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The negative would be the linens and washing machine. It is a tiny washer/dryer combo that takes 4-5 hours per small cycle. There were no flat sheets on any bed and just 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels in the apartment. Overall, it is clean and lovely.

Perfect for a family visiting London

Our family of four adults and two preteens were traveling abroad together for the first time. We chose this particular property because of location, bedroom arrangements and ease of communication with the host. We were not disappointed. The spacious apartment had interesting views from its “wall of glass” windows, comfortable furniture, really comfortable beds, easy access to grocery stores, pubs, and the tube. The location at the Canning Town station was the star. Lifts helped move up and down easily, ability to change lines was easy. We visited sites that we originally labeled as only possibilities. The apartment had everything we needed, the location was terrific and our host really knows how to welcome his guests. Bravo Andrew!!

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Canning Town. We liked taking a break from the inner city during the evenings. The river area allowed cool air to come into the apartment. During the day the apartment gets a lot of sun so keeping the shades down helps. We had some warm temperatures during our stay. We were close to the underground at Canning Station which is on the Julbilee line. The apartment was well equipped with all that we needed. Andrew was always on top of communication. Amazing stay!

The location was absolutely perfect. It’s conveniently located close to the Tube and a great little neighborhood with restaurants, a coffee shop and grocer. A Great Place to Stay

Andrew did a great job of tending to any issues that arose. He is a fine host. The property itself is as outlined. Convenient to the tube and the DLR. Surrounded by a small conservation area. Daily food trucks and good restaurants and food stores nearby. A great place to stay.
