Estancia en Londres

La estancia en el apartamento de Amanda fue estupenda, estuvo siempre disponible para resolver nuestras dudas y el proceso de check in y check out fue perfecto. La ubicación del apartamento es increíble, a un paso de una boca de metro y a unos 20 minutos andando al centro, y ubicado en un barrio muy tranquilo. Sin duda para repetir. Gracias Amanda por todo

Fabulosa estancia

El apartamento es precioso y está en una zona tranquila. Ideal para familias con niños o parejas de amigos. Está muy bien equipado y muy cerca de todo; supermercado, restaurante, metro y tren. Puedes llegar dando un paseo por el Támesis hasta el London Eye o el Big Ben.

Nice house with a awesome neighbourhood full of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. the worst thing is although the street is very calm you can hear noises because the wood windows are very bad.

This was a lovely and unique VRBO. A was very pleasant and responsive. She allowed us to drop off our luggage early and did what she could to support us while there. The home is “quirky” but exactly as she described. It is very close, a 5 minute walk max. , to the easy to navigate tube (metro). There are multiple restaurants in the area and the ppl were incredibly friendly.

The place was in a safe neighborhood not far from the train station or bus. We chose this place mainly because it was near the Black Dog pub. The accommodation has three levels with steep stairs. The first level being the entrance. The second level being the living room and kitchen. The third level being the bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We loved the water pressure and the shampoo and conditioner they provided. The place was not a clean as could be, it was quite dusty along the stairwell. Overall, lovely place.

Great location!

Beautiful residence and in an excellent location for central London. We walked to many sites from there and easy tube/train access. Downsides: we came in the middle of a heat wave and the place got very hot and it was hard to sleep. It also has steep stairs which was tricky with the luggage. However, I think if it hadn’t been so hot it would have been a comfortable place to stay.

Wonderful stay!

What a jewel! This historic home is so full of character and charm. There was plenty of space and the kids loved the lofted beds. We really enjoyed feeling like we were staying with the locals but also so close to the tube and all the sights. We ate at the Black Dog on the owners recs and it also did not disappoint. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is beautiful, clean, fully equipped and very well connected to the main attraction of the city thanks to Vauxhall tube and bus station (5 minutes walk trough a very nice park). Very quiet at night. There are some stairs, but for us it wasn't a problem at all. For us a wonderful stay!

Almost perfect

I loved the house it was beautiful, unique, spacious filled with amazing touches from the Victorian era just truly like no where else I've stayed before I really loved the upstairs loft beds something about being in alil cave bed made me happy. Now the one annoying thing that's the only real issue is the temperature/ thermostat the first night we where FREEEZING and I did everything I could to warm the house but didn't learn till the ext morning I had no control of the thermostat and had to message the owner thru the app to turn up or down the heat. This resulted inmultiple nights of point of waking up in ur own sweat to freezing cold mornings ! The morning of check out we all had to get ready and leave in the freezing cold cus the heaters didn't turn on till 7 when we where walking out the door. If they where to give there customer temperature control I'd say this was a 5 out of 5 for sure but that one little detail made the house uncomfortable numerous times a day . Beds where great sheets and blankets where great pillows where perfect. Fresh plants everywhere ! Guite literally almost perfect

Great London

Nous avons profité agréablement de ce superbe logement très lumineux parfaitement adapté à une famille. Le logement se situe à proximité d’un joli parc et d’une ferme associative avec des Lamas, cochons… La situation du logement à proximité de Vauxhall permet de découvrir Londres très facilement grâce aux nombreuses lignes de métro, bus. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour Londonien

LONDRES EN FAMILLE

Appartement très bien situé et facile d'accès, quartier sympa et surtout proche de Westminster à pied. nous avons tout fait à pied ou en métro avec 4 ados. Nous étions 6, le logement est grand et bien agencé, nous reviendrons. Merci Amanda et à très bientôt Londres nous manque déjà.

Highly recommended.

Fascinating period property in a quiet location 5 minutes walk to Vauxhall underground. Quirky layout which the children loved. The adults enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the evening. Well equipped kitchen and supermarket nearby made self-catering an easy option. We loved it!

Four nights in September

Location is great for the Tube. The flat is accommodating and comfortable. Host was great. Responded quickly. Only thing I can point out is there are a lot of stairs. Overall for us it was a good place.

Lovely flat in Vauxhall

We stayed for 6 nights in 10/2024 (Sun-Sat). Could hear club music Fri night. My teens LOVED that there were two lofts in the two bedrooms for them to sleep in. I had a full-size bed in one of those rooms and it was fine. The entire flat is a bit quirky (we're American) but worked great for us. The 1st floor (street level) goes up to the stairs to the 2nd floor (living room, kitchen, & balcony #1), then up again for the 3rd floor (full bathroom, bedrooms, & balcony #2). There is a washer but no dryer. If you plan to do a lot of laundry, you might find it challenging to dry. Fridge is half size, with the freezer being literally a slot (but works well). All the furniture is tired and probably in need of a refresh, but works fine. Favorite parts: skylight, window seats in the living room, park and separate playground across the street, location, and easy access to public transportation. Least favorite parts: the ceiling leaked during rain one night, but the owner is already taking care of it; being able to hear pretty much everything the neighbors were doing between 7-10pm; no dryer for clothing beyond the rack; and the high entry point to tub/shower. Not recommended for those with mobility issues (stairs). We loved this flat and would stay here again in London!

Family Visit

The property was clean and located near transportation and restaurants. We were in town to move our daughter into her dorm at LSE and it was a nice location for all of us to stay together for a few days before returning home to the US. Amanda was very accommodating and responsive and we will stay again if the property is available when we cone to visit our daughter.
