Paddington flat

The flat was very well located for visitors to London in a pleasant and safe area, a short walk to Paddington Station and to Hyde Park and museums, with some great restaurants just around the corner. We stayed for 1.5 weeks in December and found the flat cozy, comfortable and full of character - and we even managed to cook a respectable Christmas dinner with the kitchen facilities. It was a nice place to relax and watch the world through the front window. Wifi was reliable in the front part of the house. We appreciated having an effective washer and dryer. The host was clear and polite in her communications, and we felt very welcome. One small issue: we found it difficult to source the correct pods for the coffee machine. Although it is a ground floor flat, there are quite a lot of internal stairs, which was fine for us but may not be ideal for someone with mobility issues. Overall, we had a lovely time here and would recommend.

London

The location to nearby tube stations was ideal. A quick walk to Lancaster Gate and Paddington stations makes traveling around London easy. The flat has a large couch, sitting area, TV, & kitchen table to seat a least 4 adults. The bathroom is quite small, even for UK standards. The shower was so tricky to adjust-either scalding hot or ice cold. The beds could use updating. They were both uncomfortable and very worn. There is also a continual noise running near the back of the flat that sounds like an air compressor. For tired travelers comfort and quality of sleep is important and the flat lost stars in this department.

Paddington Stay

Stayed here with family of 4. Property was as advertised and on nice quiet street with easy access to Paddington underground and rail station. There are several small grocery shops close by and an easy walk to Hyde Park. The flat has entry on the first floor with one bedroom on the main floor and one bedroom, with the larger bed, up a small very narrow winding staircase. The main floor is spacious, comfortable and well appointed, great to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom is small and very tight but functional. Overall this location and flat worked out well for us, just be aware that it is a bit challenging to get luggage up to the second level bedroom. Other than great flat.

Loved it.

The location was great, the place was comfortable and spacious. Really appreciated having markets and cafes right around the corner. Easy to access the bus and Paddington Station for trains and the tube. Would stay here again.

Perfect family destination - clean, comfy and close to everything you'd need.

Wonderful spot, clean and comfy with all the comforts of home. Enough space for the family to not be on top of each other. Close enough to everything you'd need but without being on a busy/noisy street. A short walk from multiple tube stations and Hyde Park. Less than a minute walk to multiple coffee/breakfast and grocery shops right around the corner, An array of great restaurant options all within a 10 minute walk. 5 minute walk from Paddington station. Very responsive/welcoming hosts. This is our spot for sure next time around!

The perfect flat

What a wonderful space in a wonderful place. So much room in the flat with everything we needed and the location was near multiple tube lines, so getting around London was easy. The property owners were immediately responsive when we had trouble with the WiFi and were able to accommodate our early arrival request.

Nice area, OK apartment, but cleaning and furnishings substandard

Neighbourhood. layout of 2 bedroom property and communications were all very good. However the cleaning was inadequate and the lounge upholstery and furnishings were dirty and stained to an off-putting level. It stopped one from sitting in the lounge and staying home in the evening. For the costs of stay this was unacceptable and would not be tolerated in a hotel

Nice location

The location of the apartment is great. Close to the underground station and the neighborhood itself is cute. The living room area is quite nice, large but cozy. The bathroom is small but sufficient. We didn't cook anything but the kitchen is small. Worked well for our needs over the course of a week.

Nice flat but not totally clean

The flat was laid out nicely and had some good qualities (full sized fridge, nice dining table and living area, TV. It was close to Paddington station which made things convenient. There were some aspects that weren't clean (stains on the couch, very dirty/dusty floors) and the beds were not comfortable with scratchy sheets. It was a little too expensive for the value.
