Location, location, location.The apartment is a very short walk to South Kensington station. After exiting the gate and going left on the street, within minutes you’ll find excellent cultural food options including American, Italian, Mediterranean, Asian, Georgian, Indian, and Lebanese, plus coffee shops like Starbucks and Ole & Steen. The area is very walkable and cozy, with no large or overwhelming intersections.The apartment was clean and larger than expected. Despite being on a basement level, the lighting was excellent throughout, including natural light in the kitchen. The common area had both bright and softer lighting options.Reliable WiFi was provided, and the router was accessible if you wanted to plug in directly or use a VPN. A carbon monoxide detector was also present.There is an all-in-one washer/dryer combo. If using the dryer, note that it must cool down before unlocking (signage is posted nearby). A drying rack was provided, and we used the heated towel racks to help finish drying clothes when needed.The bathrooms are compact but functional, with heated towel racks. We stayed during cold weather, so we can’t speak to air conditioning, but the heating was more than sufficient.We attended a Chelsea game and took the Tube from South Kensington (about five stops). We walked back afterward and felt safe, even at night.Overall, a great stay in an excellent location.
