We saw some other, incredible houses on Canandaigua lake we wanted to book, everything looked perfect but when we saw the total price at check out, we said no way; way overpriced. But we found THIS place had it all: Enough room, nice interior, great view, nice outdoor space with a dock to park a boat, AND a fair price! Therefore, we will save this spot to check first for another rental."

"We have stayed at this property multiple times & always find it well maintained & equipped. In addition to the direct lake access, the covered balcony right over the lake is a major plus as well as the outdoor jacuzzi with direct lake views. There are several areas for people to gather for various games, activities or just a quiet space for reading. The owner Dawn is always responsive if any issues or questions arise. Totally positive experiences. 5 stars"

"This was the second time staying at this property with my family. The house comfortably handled my gang of 24 people. Plenty of space on the first floor and enough beds for sleeping. The kitchen has everything we needed and plenty of toys and games for the kids. House keeping had the place very clean when we checked in. Plenty of lawn chairs provided. The parking is perfect for my large family with many vehicles. I have already booked the property for next year. The only improvement needed is...

"Beautiful property! This home was perfect for a “girls” getaway. Tastefully decorated - furnishings and bedding were comfortable and high quality. The views of the lake were spectacular. Location is very private, yet a short ride to Canandaiqua for restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very responsive when we had any questions. We have rented several properties over the years and we all agreed that this one was one of the best! Highly recommend this property."

"Wow!! We spent 3 1/2 days here with our three grandkids, and everyone had an amazing time. We wondered about the winding staircase for two 60 year olds and a 6 year old, but it turned out being no problem at all. The views are spectacular from both upstairs and down. We were in the hot tub twice a day. The kids caught fish off the dock. We kayaked and SUP'd multiple times. We had campfires. And we loved the proximity to the falls and swimming pool at Letchworth State Park. The only...

"It is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. Our dogs are very much at home with large areas to explore. The horses and the visitors are always friendly. The owners are welcoming and gladly provide insights into the area. We have visited there many times and will be back."

"Our stay at the retreat of falling waters was great! We planned a trip for exploring the finger lakes and it fit the bill for us nicely! Everything was clean when we arrived and in working order. I think the outdoor area could use some landscaping love but it didn't take away from the overall experience. "

"Most aspects of our stay were very good. The pool was delightful, beds were reasonably comfortable, and a very user friendly kitchen. The furniture in the main living room was not the same as pictures (very Victorian instead) and the yard and front of the house could really use some spiffing up. "We booked this location for my daughter‘s family, which includes my daughter, her husband and my twin grandkids. They loved the look and cleanliness of the cabin and loved the fact that there were so many animals that were comfortable enough to come and get close to them so that they could engage. We are already looking to book another stay at the Letchworth Farm and book both the cottage and the cabin."
